  1. There are no words to describe how this makes me feel. *sniff* It brought a tear to my eye.
  2. Looking good. Just two things that left me thinking WTF? 1. The large tab under the fast (see the GERWALK pic) 2. The little locking tab on the back pack is now present. I had thought this was removed? The knees on the other hand are very Revoltech. I like it!!
  3. As long as the complaining is constructive and leads to improvement, wether it's the toy company or home remedy, it is welcomed to my ears. The only time I'm bothered by it is when lazy folks who don't read the previous posts tend to re-address the same issues. Over, and over, and over...
  4. But at least we've got the Skull and Crossbones tampoed on the fast packs!!!
  5. Hey Ron, Excellent work as always!! Is there any way you can take a picture of your entire Macross City diorama? I am very curious to see just how much space that set takes up. Also, thanks of the tip for Pegasus Models. I actually found the "O" Scale steps I was looking for (and much more than my wallet anticipated).
  6. The VF-1D chest plate cannot attach to the Thunder Hammer chest missle bays. The TH is totally configured for the VF-1. That's cool though, cuz' it'll just leave me to do another 1/48 project.
  7. Purchase a 1/48 and the new 1/60 V.2, try them both out and see which you like best. Whichever of the two loses then off to e-bay it goes!!! I personally like the 1/48 mostly because of size and availability to allow it to be customized. Even though the 1/60 v.2 is supposed to be perfect transformation, it really is far from it.
  8. Well, if nothing comes from this in a few months. Then I'd say it's time for me to step in and make it (kits) possible.
  9. Special gimmicks can be any number of things. But for now this is what I'm guessing.
  10. I suggest you break it down into categories like this: 1. Owner-Produced Customs Contest 2. Commissioned Customs Contest I think more people would participate if you would allow them to do so, rather than just buying something and bringing it in. I appreciate all the Wonderful customs created by our resident artists, but to be honest with you I would like to see more than just "paid for items". Don't think of this as the Concourse de Elegance at Pebble Beach, but more of a Food Network Challenge where every aspect of the custom is brought forth by the owner.
  11. This thead needs more a55kicking Thunder Hammers!!!
  12. Wow!! Nice job, Ron! Excellent touch, little screen with Minmae singing.
  13. Could this mean your scheme will see the light of day under Yamato's hand? Awesome news!!!
  14. I'm buying at least one. I just love the size of the 1/48 to give it up. Plus there is much more room for plenty of customizing. Also, I am not too fond of certain details of the 1/60, such as, the position of the pilot seat and the placement of the head, etc. Who knows, I might change my mind later, but from where I'm standing, all signs point to "NO".
  15. Hi VS-1UX, Try here: Comparisons or all available scales. Courtesy of our MW toy guru. Once you swim through these pages you'll be better informed. Price is relative when you compare the scales (brands) according to what your looking for in a purchase. Welcome to MW, and may the Macross Gods spare the life essence of your wallet. NB4M
  16. It kind of did, but just in case, I see no reason to open the floodgates for flaming this sculpt. It really is superb. After all, this is MW and you know it will happen.
  17. WOW!!!! The dimensions are stunning. NO SKINNY LEGS!!!
  18. Don't forget, these need to do extremely well in sales. If they don't the rest will be vaporware.
  19. MKII, The speed at which you paint and put models together (amonst other things), never ceases to amaze me. So let me get this straight. There is: -sonic speed -light speed -warp speed and -holy-muther-frucken-son-of-a-that's-awesome-MKII speed? Excellent work as always.
  20. It's the head (Super Mc)hemorrhoid known as Popeye. He leads the battalion of 100 hemorrhoids against someone who's eaten too many BigMacs while sitting at McDonald's.
  21. IIRC, when the prototype of the Monster was revealed it was estimated to cost somewhere between 350.00 to 400.00. Not a bad price, if you ask me. The real down side would be shipping. I can already see sellers gouging like-mudder-ruckers for this.
  22. Looks fantastic!!!
  23. Verrrryyyyyy Ooooooooooolllllld Poooooooooossssssst!!! Thanks, but it's been seen here many times over.
