  1. Awesome!!! I remember seeing he LV2 at the con last year, it looked fantastic!!
  2. IIRC it shows it well in the commercial fo the 1/60 VF-1S V.2
  3. Not a maybe, because it does. This is a total win in my book. The last pic in Yamato's product page is very reminicent of Arii's old art covers. Beautiful.
  4. If this were true, we'ld all be trully happy right about now. I've always stated my version has no removing parts and everything is integrated into the VF-1D and it's normal functions. I'm really not fond of the lack luster attempts on this. The V.2 is more of a super model that looks great from 50 feet away, but when you get closer it's far from super and IS mediocre at best.
  5. Wow. I'm left speechless, but not in a good way. More in the likes of...is that it? WTF? I really anticipated more from Grahams comments. If these are the so called "gimmicks" I'm sure as hell glad I'm only getting one. Let's me get more 1/48's
  6. So if you do trade Nick for your GF, how will you transform this valk with only one hand? SUCKA!! You iz jealous.
  7. I couldn't agree with you more. I went full transformation, on the SV-51y Ivanov, to all modes right out of the box. Damn scary. Yet, I think I've handled more than my fair share of transforming toys to understand how it would work. But making this transform correctly is a bit mind boggling. It really demonstrates Yamato's true abililty of how to percieve and create a PT toy without detering from lineart (just wish they could manage the same with the VF-1).
  8. Just a small tear on one flap? Damn.
  9. Ron, Your level of work is simply stunning. How long did it take you to build Macross City? The level of detail is amazing!!! Do you live in a 1/60 scale SDF-1?!?
  10. I think Ron lives in a 1/60 scale SDF-1.

  11. There are no words to describe how this makes me feel. *sniff* It brought a tear to my eye.
  12. Looking good. Just two things that left me thinking WTF? 1. The large tab under the fast (see the GERWALK pic) 2. The little locking tab on the back pack is now present. I had thought this was removed? The knees on the other hand are very Revoltech. I like it!!
  13. As long as the complaining is constructive and leads to improvement, wether it's the toy company or home remedy, it is welcomed to my ears. The only time I'm bothered by it is when lazy folks who don't read the previous posts tend to re-address the same issues. Over, and over, and over...
  14. But at least we've got the Skull and Crossbones tampoed on the fast packs!!!
  15. Hey Ron, Excellent work as always!! Is there any way you can take a picture of your entire Macross City diorama? I am very curious to see just how much space that set takes up. Also, thanks of the tip for Pegasus Models. I actually found the "O" Scale steps I was looking for (and much more than my wallet anticipated).
  16. The VF-1D chest plate cannot attach to the Thunder Hammer chest missle bays. The TH is totally configured for the VF-1. That's cool though, cuz' it'll just leave me to do another 1/48 project.
  17. Purchase a 1/48 and the new 1/60 V.2, try them both out and see which you like best. Whichever of the two loses then off to e-bay it goes!!! I personally like the 1/48 mostly because of size and availability to allow it to be customized. Even though the 1/60 v.2 is supposed to be perfect transformation, it really is far from it.
  18. Well, if nothing comes from this in a few months. Then I'd say it's time for me to step in and make it (kits) possible.
  19. Special gimmicks can be any number of things. But for now this is what I'm guessing.
  20. I suggest you break it down into categories like this: 1. Owner-Produced Customs Contest 2. Commissioned Customs Contest I think more people would participate if you would allow them to do so, rather than just buying something and bringing it in. I appreciate all the Wonderful customs created by our resident artists, but to be honest with you I would like to see more than just "paid for items". Don't think of this as the Concourse de Elegance at Pebble Beach, but more of a Food Network Challenge where every aspect of the custom is brought forth by the owner.
  21. This thead needs more a55kicking Thunder Hammers!!!
  22. Wow!! Nice job, Ron! Excellent touch, little screen with Minmae singing.
