  1. Thanks for the info, Roger. But this has been discovered and tried by a few of our members on MW. It does work and presents favorable results. Use the search function and type in "Hydrogen Peroxide". ***Mods please delete this thread for redundancy.
  2. Wait a minute is that Alto's flight suit behind the Macross Quarter?
  3. Yum, yum, yum... A real MUST HAVE ITEM!
  4. Oh yeah, this baby is coming home to my house. I hope it's not too hefty on weight. Shipping this thing will probabbly cost as much as the price you pay for this item.
  5. Graham, Does the head of the VT-1 tuck into the fuselage, flat faced looking down with the antennae tucked in?
  6. I think this is their best sculpt of the VT-1 or any-two seater by far. Just noticed that the flat antennae on the head swivels. If the head tucks into the fuselage during fighter, I am soooooooo buying two of these.
  7. Oh me, oh mine. This looks reeeeeeeeealllyyyyyyy nnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. The cockpit looks good, and the size of the head looks spot on. I wonder if the sides of the head open and close like the lineart demonstrates. Hmmmm, I'm also wondering if Yamato went the cheap route and just slapped normal VF-1A arms on this. Need clearer pics to verify. Thanks, Renato.
  8. You need to find an alternate ingress. YOU CAN DO IT! We all have faith in you
  9. 1/60 VF-0 - Fuselage The way it was created to slide back up into the chest of battroid is sheer genius. This is one feature that totally failed the v.2 1/60 VF-1. 1/60 YF-21 - Hands Really nice and full when compared to the chicken hands of the other transforming mecha.
  10. It's not just that these are re-colors...these are canon schemes, unlike the 1/48 with the Stealth, LV Air and LV Woodland Camo. Also, let's not forget the LV Woodland Camo GBP-1S, Urban Camo GBP-1S and the Strike/Super Stealth Pack. I'm glad that they're making these at least now folks can stop complaining about what's not available and just put their monies where there mouth is. Hopefully, with what Yamato gains in sales from these 1/60 V.2s they can create a whole new 1/48 (or 1/32) VF-1 that would have everything anyone could want. I for one will not complete this line. I think I will just get the VF-1D (to join my Roy) and that's it. The 1/60 V.2 is okay, but 1/48 is still a much better platform.
  11. Not quite, there's still plenty to do.
  12. It seems they're riding the coattails of the MacrossF fever and gaining more momentum by having more products available. Plus it helps them to secure more sale than Bandai by having more variety available.
  13. I think Yamato will continue with making all the obscure valks (basically repaints) on the VF-1 platform first. Then we might see the VF-1A/D Virgin Road and the two seater VF-1D CF *(with the odd head). *this valkyrie very breifly appears during the wedding scene is also found in the Macross Memory book.
  14. Nice.
  15. You're welcome. Take a look at the other metal foils. They might be useful in the future.
  16. The easiest remedy Yamato could have done so the 2-seaters don't look too off is to lower the height of the canopy and slim down the thickness of the backrests on both seats. It would help create a longer and sleeker look without doing any drastic changes. The least they could do is attempt to save this sculpt than just pass it for what it is...Blech. Just my opinion.
  17. Those look incredible. What's next?
  18. Try my source: Bare Metal Foil I would use this when I was making automobile models.
  19. You're assumptions are pretty close when referring about production of the VE/VT-1. But with regards to the canopy being like that of the VE/VT-1, their still off. The canopy is actully taller to accomodate the rear pilot. The molds (if used) would only be another craptacular way of us not getting a true VE/VT-1, and a mediocre VF-1D delivered prior to that.
  20. Funny that you would mention that. Everyone swears that a two-seater VF-1D was used during the Max & Milia ceremony, but in fact it was a two-seater VF-1A that was flown during the entire episode. Yet a lot of people would rather have a VF-1D than an anime accurate two-seater VF-1A. It's all relative to your own interpretation of what is and is not anime canon or lineart canon.
  21. "Your the one for me fatty." Now back to the 1D. Blech.
  22. Blech to this, but not to you SWEET CHEEKS. I don't even want to get into what is wrong with this. It's so redundant and it looks like it will have to take Yamato to make another attemp, that is if they think it's worth it. Still, I am going to be buying this. GERWALK and FIGHTER suck, but BATTROID is ok.
  23. Nice and sincere apology. Still, this thread was getting a bit racy, especially at work. I wasn't sure what to expect next. (Yet, in the back of my head I wanted to see more.)
  24. So close, but yet so far.
