  1. Support the Valkyrie Exchange!! Great pricing and excellent shipping!! And let's not forget SUPERB customer service that is second to none.
  2. It's not a new mold just a custom chop job that might be the end result for these exclusives. We all know far too well that Yamato would not take the financial plunge just recreate the DYRL head to TV goodness. Nonetheless, I still like it. It looks pretty damn good.
  3. Wow Yamato actually did their own version of the TV VF-1A head!!!!
  4. I totally agree with you. I think Graham could have at least recommended they do this. It's not like it's impossible, it just takes a little more effort on Yamato's part.
  5. I signed up about two months ago and have yet to see a single mag. Could be that since my address is from the US that I get nothing. On the other hand I keep getting updates of things to come.
  6. That looks really nice wickedpr1nce. Great job!! Can you post pics of it in GERWALK mode?
  7. Hey this Con needs a "dance" contest.... Nyan Nyan Dance
  8. Ha, ha, ha!! This is just too funny. Thanks for the laugh.
  9. Those look awesome!! You should start your own thread for custom PS works on toys and models. That would be a great thread.
  10. Damn, that's awesome. Are those Italeri figs and support vehicles? Or racasted parts from Verlinden?
  11. All references are made strictly towards Yamato Valks.
  12. It's whether it won't or it will. It's more like when.
  13. Holy Cheese and Rice, your cabinet looks like a fat guy wearing a small shirt anxious to bust at the seems for relief.

    sv-51

Let's see. I would say go with the Nora. It has no defects what so ever. Nice tight joints, tight hardpoints, excellent paint application, great color, etc. The Ivanon is sinister, but boring. Plus the only way you can be sure to get an almost flawless SV-51 is to get a V.2 or V.3 The CF is like the Ivanov, lackluster. But this little vulture is loose and can barely stand up. Missles fall off and the nothing locks well into place. The gunpod and cartridge do not interlock well. Take this with a grain of salt, but definitely look into the Nora.
  15. Shoulders cracking? Most of the version 1/100 I have have hairline cracks at the shoulders and the knees. The only one that completely broke off at the shoulder was a custom (which of course is a given). I will be buying the Super/Strike Parts for all the 1/100 I have, just hopefully at a great price. The ones I've seen on ebay are uber expensive considering you pay twice the price for a 1/48 Super/Strike Pack. I just hope Toynami releases the GBP-1S soon.
  16. These are too nice to pass up. The heads still appear a bit funny, but I hope the end result is well worth it. Does anyone know if Bandai will produce their own version of the Konig Monster? I just really like the scheme.
  17. I didn't see a button for "any." "Any" meaning any valkyrie that is free and clear of QC or design issues. I actually love all the Macross mecha, just not all Yamato's renditions there of.
  18. All VF-0S Roy's have a slight yellowish (w/faint green) tint. It's never been fully white. Color matching that has been a real paint when recasting parts for this.
  19. No one's upset. I just think it would be justified for Yamato to conclude all the variants available in the 1/48 version for all the masses. It's not like Max TV 1A won't sell. This version is pure gold and many would love to have one created by Yamato than a home-made custom (myself included). It's great and all that they milk the molds, I for one would continue buying the variants (in multiples) as I always do. Just can't get enough of the 1/48.
  20. Does this mean you have the "Credit Card" Valk and the "Comet...(I can't remember)" valk as well? Got pics?
  21. I hear you, brother. According to Graham, wasn't Yamato going to can the 1/48 molds and move onto the meager 1/60 V.2? I think it's safe to say that 1/48s are not going away anytime soon and the 1/60 V.2 could see limited release (and variants) due to the continued overwhelming response, presence, and selling power of the large scale 1/48.
  22. Finally the molds I made for these replacements are being put to great use. Way to go SILVERDRAGON!! These were made a long time ago...
  23. Great work on adding the sketch and caption. That flyer looks great!!!
  24. That Mikimoto sketch would be an excellent backgorund for the MWCon flyer!!
  25. Indeed. And we are shown a subpar 1/60 V.2 that really could have been much better.
