  1. Looking at the right top corner of the box. What is imposed by "Macross Another"? Does this mean there is more to come soon or does this mean "any" Macross related mecha as long as it is 1/100 scale?
  2. I was really expecting to see more than what has been issued. It would have been nice to create a special gift box ala Toys R Us Japan. At least someone could justify it to themselves to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a box. I'm all for collecting the 1/48, but this is a definite pass for me. I hope the trend of exclusives does continue, as I wouldn't put it passed Yamato not to release the VF-1S Strike Max and the a weathered version.
  3. I couldn't agree with you more. The price is right for the size and amount of accessories you get. Sure, they're cheap, but who cares. It's what Toynami is known for. Need we say more? I think the GBP-1S they did for the 1/100 is really good and looks well proportioned, as well as do the Regults. I just hope they don't stop there and would hurry in getting more items released.
  4. I'm sure when these hit stateside, they'll a bit cheaper.
  5. Since there is no designated topic for these "like it or not" transformable renditions.... Just noticed that the new Series 4 has hit HK and are now available on ebay. VF-1A CF with Super Parts VF-1S Hikaru with Strike Parts - Weathered VF-1S Roy with Strike Parts This is how they should have been released in the first place. I don't know about you guys, but it's time to army build with the CF.
  6. Woo Hoo!! DYRL SDF-1 to start and start saving up for the TV version. I mentioned this thread to my wife yesterday and she is actually allowing me to get this when it is release. She saw pics of it and actually liked it. She also told me to set aside about $800.00 now and whatever else I can muster up when the time comes to purchase. I speculated to her that it would be around that much, just to be on the safe side. Damn, life is good! All I need now is for Yamato to follow through and make available.
  7. Thanks for the info, Roger. But this has been discovered and tried by a few of our members on MW. It does work and presents favorable results. Use the search function and type in "Hydrogen Peroxide". ***Mods please delete this thread for redundancy.
  8. Wait a minute is that Alto's flight suit behind the Macross Quarter?
  9. Yum, yum, yum... A real MUST HAVE ITEM!
  10. Oh yeah, this baby is coming home to my house. I hope it's not too hefty on weight. Shipping this thing will probabbly cost as much as the price you pay for this item.
  11. Graham, Does the head of the VT-1 tuck into the fuselage, flat faced looking down with the antennae tucked in?
  12. I think this is their best sculpt of the VT-1 or any-two seater by far. Just noticed that the flat antennae on the head swivels. If the head tucks into the fuselage during fighter, I am soooooooo buying two of these.
  13. Oh me, oh mine. This looks reeeeeeeeealllyyyyyyy nnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. The cockpit looks good, and the size of the head looks spot on. I wonder if the sides of the head open and close like the lineart demonstrates. Hmmmm, I'm also wondering if Yamato went the cheap route and just slapped normal VF-1A arms on this. Need clearer pics to verify. Thanks, Renato.
  14. You need to find an alternate ingress. YOU CAN DO IT! We all have faith in you
  15. 1/60 VF-0 - Fuselage The way it was created to slide back up into the chest of battroid is sheer genius. This is one feature that totally failed the v.2 1/60 VF-1. 1/60 YF-21 - Hands Really nice and full when compared to the chicken hands of the other transforming mecha.
  16. It's not just that these are re-colors...these are canon schemes, unlike the 1/48 with the Stealth, LV Air and LV Woodland Camo. Also, let's not forget the LV Woodland Camo GBP-1S, Urban Camo GBP-1S and the Strike/Super Stealth Pack. I'm glad that they're making these at least now folks can stop complaining about what's not available and just put their monies where there mouth is. Hopefully, with what Yamato gains in sales from these 1/60 V.2s they can create a whole new 1/48 (or 1/32) VF-1 that would have everything anyone could want. I for one will not complete this line. I think I will just get the VF-1D (to join my Roy) and that's it. The 1/60 V.2 is okay, but 1/48 is still a much better platform.
  17. Not quite, there's still plenty to do.
  18. It seems they're riding the coattails of the MacrossF fever and gaining more momentum by having more products available. Plus it helps them to secure more sale than Bandai by having more variety available.
  19. I think Yamato will continue with making all the obscure valks (basically repaints) on the VF-1 platform first. Then we might see the VF-1A/D Virgin Road and the two seater VF-1D CF *(with the odd head). *this valkyrie very breifly appears during the wedding scene is also found in the Macross Memory book.
  20. Nice.
  21. You're welcome. Take a look at the other metal foils. They might be useful in the future.
  22. The easiest remedy Yamato could have done so the 2-seaters don't look too off is to lower the height of the canopy and slim down the thickness of the backrests on both seats. It would help create a longer and sleeker look without doing any drastic changes. The least they could do is attempt to save this sculpt than just pass it for what it is...Blech. Just my opinion.
  23. Those look incredible. What's next?
  24. Try my source: Bare Metal Foil I would use this when I was making automobile models.
