Please share. I'm curious to know as well. In the meantime, here's my TV Max hanging out with DYRL 1A Hikaru. Sorry about the crappy pic. I'll try to post better pics later.

Don't worry there should be a few available at this year's MWCon.
-
This pic is worth more than one-thousand dollars. Just the combined cost of the 1/48 Thunder Hummer and the LV.1 with the VF-1S head is an easy 1K.

Nice clip on accesory.

Now back to the TOPIC. Is there a list of planned gimmicks for SDF?
-
You and I have the same amount of GBP-1S. Wanna form a battalion?
-
How about sharing a pic of your 1/48 decal set?
-
If you need room, you can always store them at my house. I had the same problem as you did but, now some are displayed in the garage. While most and multiples are in boxes.

As it should be. I was looking at my 1/48 TV Max last night and I noticed that the neck and basically the entire head are just upsized proportions of the 1/60 version soon to be released. Could this be a cue that maybe Yamato is planning something along the lines of a 1/48 V.2? I might be ahead of myself on this but, it just might turn out to be true. **BASED ON MY SPECULATION*** Even if Yamato was to revise the 1/48 I think upsizing the 1/60 V.2 to a 1/48 V.2 it would not warrant me buying the VF-1 collection. The dimensions on the 1/60 V.2 just don't have that "this is Macross" feel to me.

If you have to pay her 600.00 it's not called restitution. It's more prostitution than anything else.

Awe shucks. T'anks I dun know w'at we'd do w'it out yuz. Iz you some sort of math magician presto chango guy numb'rs wizard? Dang you the smarts. Seriously though, I don't see why people are against the price of this. I would whole-heartedly say it is justifiable since this is about two feet tall. Plus the fact that it's the SDF-1. 'Nuff said.

This is a new to me. Can you post pics. As far as the color is concerned I think matte black is good but you would have to apply it in thin coats with an airbrush.
-
Pick the type and I'll do it for $600.00.

I detailed mine up a bit and they look awesome. Great price even if they do break there a very easy fix. To date I think I have about 20 and counting. These are fun to customize and they are great canvas to see what you're could look like 1/48 once customized.

You're definitely on it. Kicker, are you also collecting custom works from many?? You're collection is like a telling of customs on MacrossWorld.

I've got another (obscure and anime correct) VF-1D in the works.
-
D-licious. Now do fighter!!!
-
How about pics of your VF-1Ds??? Don't be shy to transform them into every mode.
-
Historically "perfect transformation" means transition from fighter to battroid (robot) and gerwalk (other) while maintaining the visual aspects of what the creator intended the mecha to look in all various states of transformation, wether the tranlation is perfect or not. This has nothing to do with lineart accuracy nor perfect (connected) moving parts to accomplish each mode. In lame man's terms: Valkrie Fighter - looks good but fattter than usual, but can still be considered and called a Valkyrie Fighter. Check. Battroid (robot) - looks good but has too long of a nose and the legs are too skinny, but still can be considered a Battroid. Check. Gerwalk (other) - looks good and has all the limbs sticking out ouf it and can hold a gun in its cube shaped hands while maintaining an awkward stance unlike the anime series, but it can still be recognized and considered a Gerwalk. Check. ...and so, you get, "perfect transformation". Not lineart accurate, but it get's the job done and sells.

It's not stealing until personal gain is attached to said pictures. Besides, posting pics on these forums is done openly and publicly. There has never been any statement or movement impying that all pictures posted here are to "only" remain here. But that's just something else altogether. Like I said, if he hasn't accumulated any monies or gains from said pictures then there really is nothing anyone can do. Just be the bigger man and shrug it off.

Well, I'm keeping my 1/48's as I much rather prefer the size, scale, and presence. To me the 1/48 is almost like having the 1/48 UD Strike Valkyrie from Club-M, only in a form I can play with and admire further, due to it's ability to transform and interpret the visions of SDF incarnate. Another reason why I much rather keep (and acuire more) 1/48s, is the availibility to customize these into something more. The larger scale lends itself to include more than what you can possibly do with any other scale. For instance, you can completely gut out a 1/48 and add more gimmicks, such as; rotating seats, ejection cockpit (done properly) highly detailed parts, etc. Unlike the other scales (not including the 1/55) where you have to pretty much just go as far as repainting it. For me the 1/48 will always have a permanent place in my collection, just like the old original 1/55 "Chunky Monkey". The 1/60 v.1 is nice, but lacks in every department. Still in some aspects, it does look pretty good, depending on the angle and specific parts. The 1/60 v.2 is nice, but is overly compensating for the what the v.1 could never be, while attempting to look like a Hasegawa type toy and just looking more "neo-anime" than anything else. It's just not for me, if I wanted something to look like a revision of a VF-1 then this is what I would buy and collect. 1/48 VF-1 looks more at home with the larger 1/60s in my collection. While I do have a v.2 1/60, it is set far apart from the others and sits comfortably with the Toynami Beta and the Alpha as it looks more in tune with those Robotech type examples. 1/48 is the only way to be.

Hey Kicker, More pics please.
