  1. Gives me victims to customize at a reasonable price.
  2. That's an easy fix. All you need to do is remove the legs from the T-Bar. Unscrew the block portion that resides inside, just behind, the intakes. Then remove the old rubber caps found inside. Buy a 1 dollar sink mat and a single-hole punch. Punch out two circles from the sink mat and replace the originals caps with these. Screw everything back together. Put everything back together and viola!! Better than new. I've done this to many used valks I have bought, and this remedy has never failed. NOTE: Find a black rubber sink mat, so the color can match, closely.
  3. PM sent for the VF-0D. Future sale of course.
  4. WTF is up with that AB hideous paint scheme?!?
  5. Cool. Then I'm covered and then some. Thanks.
  6. The more I look at this the more I seriously want it!!
  7. How many AngleBirds does it take to make a formation, I've got five (just like SDFM)?
  8. Not quite, the term "Perfect Transfomation" was never meant to reflect a toy or model that transformed lineart accurate, but more rather, transform from a fighter, gerwalk, and battroid (relating to VF, etc.) while keeping the unique distinction of what each transformation is meant to convey based on what the creator has provided. All designs based on Kawamori's renderings are just slight interpretations of what can physically be done given the constraints of space, scale, and media used to create a tangible product.
  9. Congrats. Looks nice. The colors remind me of an old Tri-Five Shoebox. Might have to pick this up.
  10. Same here. This is way to early to tell if this is nice or not, but from what I can tell the parts are falling into place just as they should be. It also looks as though the chest is not completely locked down into place on battroid mode. Thus making the shoulders to appear to low. Other than that I can't wait to see the end result.
  11. You sir must stop reading my mind, about my next project in 1/60 scale.
  12. I don't own the V1 of your kit, but I do think in the name of progress it would be nice to see an even better version. I don't think there would be any harm in making anything better.
  13. That looks awesome. Keep going on this project. If it helps would you like me can send you free recasted 1/48 BP-8 and nosecone. As long as you keep this up and finish it is no problem at all.
  14. That 1/48 could be the next exclusive from Yamato.
  15. Last I heard, it gets released Nov 9th. Guess what? That's tomorrow.
  16. ??? What are you talking about???
  17. Awesome job. I know what you mean about the plasti becoming white. I tried this same thing on a dingy and yellowed 1/55 GBP-1S using a over the counter 3% solution, but it took 4 months to actually see results. I kept the parts in the sun for a week and nothing happened. Then, at the second week up until the 4th month, I left the parts in my garage. I did remove all the yellow but turned he blue parts light blue, while the red and white cleaned up really nicely and held their color. The reason why I left the parts soak for 4-months is that I totally forgot about them. But hey, it still works. Just a note: remove all metal parts as they will oxidize due to the hydorgen peroxide.
  18. Wow, talk about having the "wool pulled over your eyes". I am not going to claim that I am in the toy industry and understand every aspect of it, but I will say this; when it comes to a sale and you know you can sell a lot of units and still make a profit (be it small and looking at the bigger picture) it would be best to do what it takes to make it happen. If it can't be done at at an attractive an end user price point then why bother making it at all. If the toy is within our grasp, why pull it farther away by placing a ludicrious price on it.
  19. **Thanks for info, but this is really dissapointing and unacceptable.
  20. I had this problem as well, but until I figured out that the reason the belly plates were not flush is when i noticed that the hips are the culprits. What you have to do is push the connecting bar for the legs into the main body while at the same time pushing it towards the fuselage. It is kind of hard to describe but once you try and achieve what I am explaining you'll see the parts remain flush. Hope this helps.
  21. Nice helmets. Looks like they can be worn. One of the pics clearly demonstrates padding.
  22. WOW!!! WTF!!! And I thought Yamato was going to gouge on this.... UBER EXPENSIVE MACROSS
  23. Ok this is just getting ridiculous now. What the hell is going on over at Yamato?!? $2K for a resin version of the Macross, not thank you. It really is too bad that this is what Yamato has resorted to, by having way over-priced items that will only drive customers away towards other items that may be less desired. What's next a $10K 1/60 Destroid Monster MKII?? Made from overstock cardstock of left over boxes that were to be used to ship the $2K Macross? Thanks for nothing, YAMATO.
  24. Awesome!!! Can't wait to own this. I wonder just how many of the little valkyries will be included with this.
  25. Hmm, I think it's funny the Elint has an ostrich neck. Still, it looks nice. Pass for me.
