  1. Mine is in it's way. No, didn't use the bing cash back but I did negotiate the price to pay $250.00 and not the actual $300.00.
  2. Next time have twin girls and you can be rewarded with the M&M VF-22S. Seriously, congratulations on the birth of your little one. See, she has already changed your life for the better.
  3. There is a customer for everything. Whether it looks good or bad there is always a customer. Yamato has proven that time and time again, just like our resident customizers.
  4. You w1ll have 1 Bitchin' Chrismas.
  5. I've never heard a more beautiful and truer set of words as this.
  6. Don't debate or hesitate. Very iconic. This is a must have.
  7. Nice catch. That is some seriously under-developed fan art.
  8. Could be that the Macross Zero line didn't do to well, or Yamato could find a definite solution to the broken arm syndrome. I have several VF-0 valks, but the only one who suffered from this ill fate is my first edition Roy. Strangely enough it's only the right arm. But it's fixed and better than new. About a year ago, I actually recasted the shoulder and made replacement parts from resin. The parts held very well and are still in great shape today. Unfortunately, I no longer have the molds to create the parts, and have no desire to make them available. I passed the task onto SILVERDRAGON.
  9. I am sooooo glad it being held back, it gives me breathing room. And allows me more time to spend with the M&M VF-22S(s) .
  10. It's great that your getting 1/48s, it's great scale to collect. Also, you're doing great considering what you have gotten averages pretty well. Just for future reference, you should keep a far more keen eye out for what you want. I had already purchased an LV1 for about 300.00 two years ago, and still wanted another. Due to the exhorbitant prices these command I decided to be patient and wait. My patience paid off... A few days ago I scored this...LV1 for $300 - Includes shipping, Strike Pack, and GBP-1S. Mind you I was saving this for other purchases, but this was just too good to pass up. Just be patient and look hard, even in places (or titles) you wouldn't normally look under. You will be greatly rewarded. Currently a lot of MW members are dumping their 1/48s for the 1/60 V2. Just know that most are used, but what the hell, does it really matter if you can get them all at a great price and decent condition? Welcome to MW.
  11. From the album: VF-1D - Conversion Kit - Build Up

Side profile with sliding heatshield already inside. Lots more work came after this was shot.
  12. Wow, I never new that. Thanks for teaching me something new. Do you happen to have any pic of your 1/48 UD Valkyries?
  13. Hmm, so this erases the model/toy line all in one stroke. Could this be the future of Yamato strategy until the global economy gets better. It would be kind of nice to get various 1/60 (YF-21, YF-19, etc.), but then again who has the time to build all these? Also, wouldn't selling these on sprues make it easier for bootlegs to appear?
  14. Here this should sum it for you. Customizing and Painting 101 The search function works, all YOU have to do is read through the results.
  15. "Magician's Lord", damn I was hooked on that game since it's release. I beat that game so many times. It was hard as hell getting through the final maze. I always wanted an arcade version of the SNK/NEO GEO Arcade Style Booth, but priced at $6500.00, at CNA Robinson (arcade game retailer) it was nothing to sneeze at. I would always walk in to CNA and see the latest in arcade style games, up until it shut down it's doors. **What the difference between this and the NEO GEO GOLD version?
  16. Look up member topics from Kurt, Jung, or wmcheng. Lot's of good stuff. The search function is your friend.
  17. Glue missing? Can you post a pic, you kind of lost me here.
  18. The 1/48 UD Strike can only be built with the strike pack on. If you wish to make it a non-strike, modifications are required. There was a 1/48 UD VF-1, that was later released at WF, without any strike parts. I hope to one day own one of these. I personally feel this is the most incredible Macross model through out the ages. Timeless....
  19. Who'd have thought, SK was waaaaaaaayy ahead of his time. He created his version of Rockband before there was Rockband. Back OT: I still have reservations about this, it looks great and all, but the price point is really hindering my decision to buy this.
