  1. Daisuki!! Dude it has been forever since we last saw each other at Jungle Anime in Downtown. Before that it was high school. Alex Birmingham
  2. The heavy weathering actually works well for Max. But it still doesn't do it enough for me to warrant purchasing this version.
  3. Amen, brother.
  4. The one thing I had to really sacrafice was sleep. I was working two, at sometimes three, jobs to get my fix. But now all my hard work is paying off and I will continue to do so, for as long as I possibly can.
  5. Beautiful work. You've really captured the feel of an actual helicopter. All that hard work and meticulous attention to detail has really paid off.
  6. Hmm, looks like I'm not missing out on this at all. Nice kit, but not for 50 bucks.
  7. Still getting these. These are excellent for stripping and customizing!!!
  8. Not really, if you follow the entire flight and landing sequence of the blue fighter used in the anime, it turns out Max and Milia are actually in a two-seater VF-1A.
  9. Not in 1/60. 1/48
  10. Well, at least they don't clip on to the rear of the wing like back in the 80's with the VF-1S Strike Valkyrie. Bandai is moving forward in toy engineering and development and clipping missles onto the front.
  11. Now, Yamato is getting to the point of being lazy. Their not even trying to add landing gear. They just scribe in hatches. And you have to assemble and paint this? Approx: $30 for a less than 3 inch model exclusive? Screw this. By the time this hits e-bay or any secondary market, you'll be paying about $120+, not including the exhorbitant costs associated with shipping. Thanks again, Yamato!!! No really, thanks for nothing.
  12. Would be nice, but he has sworn off doing anymore toys. All due to a previous bad experience.
  13. I think if Yamato were to do this, then this measure would undoubtedly produce more reasons for people not to buy the Spartan.
  14. MacrossWorld Members say, "That's an awesome idea." Yamato says, "Fcuk no!! How the hell are we to make more money from you infantile and naive, dolts?
  15. There was a thread but it was in general to both toys and models. The example you just gave is for models. novaflo, is asking only about toys. Still a redundant thread, but here nonetheless.
  16. This is exactly how the LV.1 started out. No one cared for the paint scheme and vendors couldn't get rid of them at $75.00, until for some odd reason everyone was clamoring for one and was willing to pay upto $600 just to own one. The Stealth on the other hand is another story. It mainly depends if it's the SS type, if not it still ends up being a "shelf warmer." But only time will tell.
  17. Please post pics when you get a chance. Thanks.
  18. WooHoo!!! I am definitely buying all of these!!! The VF-22 looks incredible, as do the color schemes for the YF-19 (SuperNova and AngelBirds).
  19. Really nice combination and execution of the two versions. This looks very close to the anime renderings. They really should have titled it "Hikaru Ichijo Special".
  20. My guess is the two generic pilots sitting in the cockpit.
  21. Seriously, check out Mr. March's, Macross Mecha Manual, site and you'll be able to read more detailed information of what valkyrie(s) appeared in what series of Macross. Thanks, Mr. March.
  22. That is one beatiful peice of art. The colors are very well balanced.
  23. It's not a toothpick. In scale it's a 4x6 wooden beam to beat the enemy with. It's a low tech undectable weapon only allowed for use on the VE-1.
  24. Dude, we all know how cool you are with those shades (your mom told us). But you really need to take them off when watching movies or videos.
  25. I too am very glad this is being released on schedule. I paid for mine in January and have been waiting very patiently. 1/60 for less than $160 shipped. Hmm...It's worth it's WAIT in gold.
