  1. This is incredible news. So now what happens to Bandai? Anything they now produce will be made bigger and better by Yamato? Could this be the beginning of the end for the Hi-Metal series?
  2. How about adding these to series 4? Hikaru and Misa DYRL in VT-1
  3. Boldoza! Need I say more. This is awesome.
  4. You might as well make both. I'm already working on how to make this transform. (In my head of course.)
  5. Let's hope this will generate funding for the VF-0D. If they fail (with more broken shoulders) on this attempt it could, be the end for Macross 0 products. Or at least the VF-0.
  6. IIRC, I think it is more preference as there is no "official" detailed color scheme.
  7. Hmm, while I do like the idea of having another transforming VF-4 1/100 kit. I just can't get around the anorexic dimensions. I think I'll stick with VF-4 from SHE.
  8. Let me guess...copies will be coming soon.
  9. I've used several different things... 1. Scalecoat - Works well on 1/55 and similar "smooth" surfaces. By rubbing, you can remove some paints in as little as five minutes, with just a heavily doused cotton swab. Just don't rub too hard or you will mar the surface. 2. GooGone - Same as scale coat. 3. Orange Floor Cleaner - Will strip paint off a 1/48 (or most anything) without discoloring or harming the plastic, given about 1 month in a OFC bath. Plus it leaves a nice scent. 4. Simple Green - Will strip the paint off anything given a long period of time (approx 1 month). Not only will it completely remove paint, it will not harm the plastic. Also, it will remove old stuck on paint on plastic handled paint brushes and return the bristles to normal, just be sure not to soak wooden handled brushes as the Simple Green will bloat the handle. Oh, and it leaves a nice scent. Always remember wash off anything you use to remove paint before priming or the resutls could be disasterous.
  10. Wow. Thanks for the great links and info. After all these years, who'ld've known Macross could resurge so much in popularity in this day and age. Ahh, Macross, still the original and still the best.
  11. These look awesome.... ....from 50 feet away. What the hell was Revoltech thinking?
  12. IIRC, there is a scene in DYRL where the VT-1 is crash landed by Misa.
  13. The artiulation on this is VERY minimal. The sculpt is rather nice and goes well with Toynami's 1/100 line. Is Voltron Volume 1, of the Robot Vinyl Collection?
  14. Replace the rubber caps with new ones, by using a single-hole punch and an old sink mat. Works like a charm.
  15. You're 1D looks awesome, unlike the usual grey or black panel lining. How about a close-up pic of the faces; Hikaru and Minmei?

  17. The remarkably impresssive VF-11B with its beatiful and well thought out engineering. Kudos, Yamato, kudos.
  18. I like this idea, but ALL the panels must be crystal clear (similar to the CMs cockpit Roy and Hikaru pods). Availability would be in GERWALK, battroid, and fighter to the truest of lineart. All the details inside would move or slide or do whatever they are "supposed" to do, per se. Full assembly of this "model kit" would be done by the buyer, as well as, all color and decal (not sticker) applications. If, Yamato was to produce this as transformable I am afraid to even fathom what the price would be. Also a matching Strike/Super Packs, and GBP-1S. I would only want this in 1/48 scale, nothing less. All the other items, such as: pilots, vehicles, custom decals, blah, blah, blah...(well, I can do without), can be available in seperate bundle packs.
  19. Maaaa Cuuuu RoSSSS!!! ta, ta... ta, da, da. These kits sure bring back some very fond memories of the good old days. Nice work, kindredd.
  20. Too much typing on your part...HOW ABOUT A GROUP PIC?
  21. Damn that guy didn't even know what hit him. Looks like he was just standing there, then...BLAAMMM!! Nice work, Ron.
  22. Nice pics and very beautiful valkyries.
  23. Nope. Three is all I wanted. One 1J and two 1A. After that, I'm completely done collecting any 1/48s. My collection is complete with more that enough to finish my customs, of what Yamato decided not to make.
  24. This has nothing to do with being greedy. If the option on an auction item is listed as either "Buy It Now" or "Best Offer", which would you choose? Please don't turn this thread into something it isn't. And just to put it out there I will also be recieving a second, yes second LV1, for a ridiculously low price from this very same seller. Greedy, I think not.
  25. Sorry for gloating.
