  1. Looks really nice. Just a small critique, I think when painting camo, you should paint in light coats rather than thick applications. Then smooth everything over with a clear satin or clear matte finish.
  2. Don't worry, so am I. The 20th sounds works great for me.
  3. Contact the retailer. They will contact Yamato and get the missing parts for you. I just got my three sets in for my Max and Kakizaky(s).
  4. Hot damn, these are nice!!! Keep the spy trio they look fantastic.
  5. Apparently not. He's stuck in Cerritos.
  6. Yum, Yum, Yum. Me wants!
  7. Cerritos?? Why there? BTW - Your avatar is awesome.
  8. I think if you go out and buy some styrene rods, pipe, and a sheet, you could do an amazing job with scratchbuilding the parts.
  9. Sounds like a good idea. Count me in. Just let me know what date and time.
  10. Thanks guys for your suppport. It has taken me about a year to complete only because I had a complete lack of time. Other than that, it is a pretty straight forward custom. I will be getting a Milia in soon and do a complete build up with a second Orguss donor I have lying around. _________________ As far as transforming goes, I think I will save that for this year's MWCon.
  11. Just adding a list of items used in making this custom build. *Sorry about the grainy pic.
  12. Just another thing to note. The same leg the kneecap is missing from is opened from the calf. It turns out, whomever put this thing together used the stop lock for the foot from the other leg. I was about to take apic but I was just so displeased and disappointed that I just unscrewed the leg ground down on the area around the stop lock and put it back together. It works great, but this is just ridiculous. Yamato, this is completely unacceptable. QA and Yamato are definitely not synonymous.
  13. Just recieved my VF-22S Max and Milia, and it seems the missing kneecap issue is frequent. I contact the retailer and hopefully I can get a replacement part sent out soon.
  14. UPDATE.... The weapon was screwed up yesterday due to the overly-humid conditions, that's why it is sitting in a bath of Simple Green. Other than that, this Orguss valkyrie is a GO!
  15. FIRST - DO NOT attempt to remove the head lasers, as they are screwed from the inside out. SECOND - Very slowly and carefully run an exacto blade across the seam of the head. There are about 4 pins that you will either cut off or luckily miss. Once the head is disassembled the rest is self explanatory. Good luck and remember to be patient. Running an exacto across the seam is time consuming, and dangerous to your fingers if you rush this.
  16. Nice move cryptkeeper. How about you place a link in your sig and if anyone's interested let them look for themselves. I was hoping you had something new...but nothing new since 2003 to 2008.
  17. I got to see all the series up close, and I must say, they are incredible and very detailed figures. Whomever misses out on these is surely going to kick themselves in the rear for doing so. Glad I got my set.
  18. Hey Mech Tech, You do realize, that you can enlarge the lineart from Macross Pefect Memory if you were to use a scanner or printer. These look incredible. Awesome work. Can't wait to see more.
  19. Well there really is two ways to look at this... 1. Yamato could be re-issuing a third edition of the VF-0S/A with all problems (hopefully) omitted. OR *2. (Eventhough it's been quite a while), these could just be leftover stock from the first and second editions. The only way to know is wait for peoples reviews on this latest installment. Once you have all the facts in hand, then it would be safe for you to make a very well informed decision. Also, you might want to contact Graham and see if he can give you more insight on this. *Just a thought, as this is what recently occured with V.2 VF-1J/GBP-1S combo pack fiasco.
  20. An audio jack would be kind of cool. Yamato could throw in the Mac7 soundtrack and people could connect it to the VF-19 and play Basara's "Listen To My Song!" all day long.
  21. Those 1/60 figs you sculpted look great with everything clustered together. Great job.
