Looks to be a great project. How about doing this as a WIP thread. I'm sure many would love to see how this[ese] drawings are brought to life.

The leg slides back on. But, during transformation the legs fall off without even touching them. It just needs more friction on the contact points. Like I said before, BLUE PAINTERS' TAPE will remedy this.

The dimensions of the shuttle and battroid are rather squat. The only mode that really works for this is the GERWALK mode, but even that has it's shortcomings. If only the overall proportions were maybe a tad longer this would look fantastic and more agressive in all three modes.

Not only that, but Kirik brought over his VF-11B to compare the leg attachements of the two and the VF-11B was damn solid. The VF-11C legs can easily be secured using blue painter's tape. Just wrap a it once around the leading outer edges of the swingbar pegs, and it won't be notible once the hips (intakes) are back in place. It will be just as secure as the VF-11B. Damn you, Yamato. So far, I've been Yamato-ed twice.

Looks great! If you need compressed wood for building the background...most hardware store have scraps (whatever size) that they sell off for $1. Just ask where it is that the lumber is cut.

The weak hinge problem is very easily remedied. Be sure to use the appropriate sized screwdriver. Also the screws are very small and can be easily stipped if your not careful. Follow these simple steps: - First, remove the two screws at the root of the weak wing. Be careful as the lense cover on the aft wing lights is removable and easily lost. - Second, pry open the lower and top half of the wing root. No tools are necessary as your fingernail will suffice, and will not scratch or damage the surface. - Third, unscrew the only screw located inside. - Fourth, remove the part from the wing root as this is the part that is not weak, but loose. - Fifth, add gerth to the inner part of the small valley that connects the wing to the wing root. A small styrene strip will work perfectly. No glue is needed. - Sixth, place and screw everything back together. - Seventh, , you're done!! Thanks, goes out to JasonC and his VF-22S Milia. I truly hope Hasegawa does a battroid version, just cutting things apart and placing them together from fighter to battroid shows just how much they concentrated on making only a sleek fighter mode, and nothing else. One thing is for sure the head and leg proportions are correct. The shoulders and the feet are just way too small. One thing is for sure, chop-shopping this fighter would make an amazing GERWALK.
