  1. Thanks, Graham. My sets arrived today!
  2. Looks great! If you need compressed wood for building the background...most hardware store have scraps (whatever size) that they sell off for $1. Just ask where it is that the lumber is cut.
  3. Where are we going to meet up? Time? Parking is available, where (for those who don't know)?
  4. Did someone say cake? I always loved both.

  6. The weak hinge problem is very easily remedied. Be sure to use the appropriate sized screwdriver. Also the screws are very small and can be easily stipped if your not careful. Follow these simple steps: - First, remove the two screws at the root of the weak wing. Be careful as the lense cover on the aft wing lights is removable and easily lost. - Second, pry open the lower and top half of the wing root. No tools are necessary as your fingernail will suffice, and will not scratch or damage the surface. - Third, unscrew the only screw located inside. - Fourth, remove the part from the wing root as this is the part that is not weak, but loose. - Fifth, add gerth to the inner part of the small valley that connects the wing to the wing root. A small styrene strip will work perfectly. No glue is needed. - Sixth, place and screw everything back together. - Seventh, , you're done!! Thanks, goes out to JasonC and his VF-22S Milia. He allowrd me to survey the problem and solve it with his affected model. NB4M
  7. I truly hope Hasegawa does a battroid version, just cutting things apart and placing them together from fighter to battroid shows just how much they concentrated on making only a sleek fighter mode, and nothing else. One thing is for sure the head and leg proportions are correct. The shoulders and the feet are just way too small. One thing is for sure, chop-shopping this fighter would make an amazing GERWALK.
  8. Payment sent. Thank you. NB4M
  9. Agreed. I'd rather have enemy mechs before any frivolous (more) items.
  10. Looks really nice. Just a small critique, I think when painting camo, you should paint in light coats rather than thick applications. Then smooth everything over with a clear satin or clear matte finish.
  11. Don't worry, so am I. The 20th sounds works great for me.
  12. Contact the retailer. They will contact Yamato and get the missing parts for you. I just got my three sets in for my Max and Kakizaky(s).
  13. Hot damn, these are nice!!! Keep the spy trio they look fantastic.
  14. Apparently not. He's stuck in Cerritos.
  15. Yum, Yum, Yum. Me wants!
  16. Cerritos?? Why there? BTW - Your avatar is awesome.
  17. I think if you go out and buy some styrene rods, pipe, and a sheet, you could do an amazing job with scratchbuilding the parts.
  18. Sounds like a good idea. Count me in. Just let me know what date and time.
  19. Thanks guys for your suppport. It has taken me about a year to complete only because I had a complete lack of time. Other than that, it is a pretty straight forward custom. I will be getting a Milia in soon and do a complete build up with a second Orguss donor I have lying around. _________________ As far as transforming goes, I think I will save that for this year's MWCon.
  20. Just adding a list of items used in making this custom build. *Sorry about the grainy pic.
  21. Just another thing to note. The same leg the kneecap is missing from is opened from the calf. It turns out, whomever put this thing together used the stop lock for the foot from the other leg. I was about to take apic but I was just so displeased and disappointed that I just unscrewed the leg ground down on the area around the stop lock and put it back together. It works great, but this is just ridiculous. Yamato, this is completely unacceptable. QA and Yamato are definitely not synonymous.
  22. Just recieved my VF-22S Max and Milia, and it seems the missing kneecap issue is frequent. I contact the retailer and hopefully I can get a replacement part sent out soon.
