You might be right about a 1/48 V.2 ever seeing the light of day, but never underestimate the will of people to buy something they already have, only newer and better. Before you post, please read on.
The best example is what has already happened. A lot of fans bought the 1/60 v.1 (sold off or kept part of them), then moved onto the 1/48 (then sold off or kept the 1/60 v.1 and 1/48), and then moved onto the 1/60 v.2.
History could repeat itself, wether we like it or not.
