  1. Can't wait to see it painted. It's looks very promising. Keep up the great work!
  2. I could have sworn there have been pictures posted here in tne past. I searched, but came up with nothing on the threads. IIRC the sculpt was floating around when Bandai was starting to initiate interest in the 1/72 models of the VF-25(s). Did this ever come to fruition or was the whole notion vaporware. Or was it someone else and not Bandai who produced the sculpt??? Will we ever see a Vajra produced?
  3. I thought the whole purpose of Yamato re-issuing a revised version of the YF-19 was to slightly retool and tighten the sculpt. Just so it would not be a wet noodle like the V1.0 and V1.1 of the 1/60 YF-19. The new lighter color was to help distinguish between the newer and older versions. I'm looking looking forward to picking up a newer version. Having the nice, smooth, and firm DN and BoP really outshine the original Standard Color Version(s).
  4. Since I acquired the SV-51(s)... 1. Ivanov - Solid since day once. No loose joints. No floppy wings. Excellent toy throughout. 2. Nora - Same as Ivanov. This is one very flambouyant scheme but nice nonetheless. 3. CF - This was completely floppy right out of the box. It was easily remedied by turning the screws back out. Then gripping the halves together while re-tightening everything. Once this was done the CF was as good as Ivanov. These valkyries are very distinct aesthecially, and very appealing.
  5. That is a very well engineered toy. The posing possibilities seem to be on par with the DX. A definite must have for me.
  6. Awesome work exo. edit for sp.
  7. Re-releases... 1/60 QF2200D-B 1/60-48 Launch Arm Display (Grey?) 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru - DYRL 1/48 VF-1S Roy - DYRL 1/60 VF-1J Hikaru - Painted Visor (Grey)
  8. Amen brother. I want a UD 1/48, as well.
  9. very useful information about the GERWALK. But, what about the additional episodes????
  10. Robotech Ad on Ebay. I just came across this ad and immediately was drawn to the GERWALK in the picture. IIRC, wasn't the Fighter the only version available? Was there ever a configurations (mode) of this sold? In the description there is mention of another 65 episodes that were to be released after the original 85 episodes. Which was the next series to be attached to the Robotech trainwreck.? I do realize this has nothing to do with Macross, but I figured, if someone else sees this. They too might be interested as well.
  11. That looks really nice. RE: 1/48 Decals Contact >EXO<, IIRC he might have a set or two for sale.
  12. Looks really good. Now recast.
  13. Just got mine in. Andy, this TH is top quality throughout. The parts finish and color is fantastic. Thanks, NB4M
  14. Homura, Your pics are incredible, they pushed me over the top and I had to buy both. Thanks for your persuasive photography.
  15. Interesting photo spread, but it demostrates the abilities of the VB-6 to hold most any pose. Pure unadulterated awesome.
  16. That looks like a great start. Will this be transformable once the project is completed?
  17. You can use any option you'ld like. Just remember to sand all high-friction areas, where wear will be most prominent, such as the joints.
  18. Would it have been easier to use a LV2 1/48, add the VF-1D parts, then mask and paint? Nice job. Looks interesting without the camo pattern.
  19. That is going to be an interesting and exhaustive undertaking for your friend. Good luck, and well wishes to your friend.
  20. That looks pretty cool. Just a small critique. Is there any way to better define the shape of the nose? It looks like a clump, rather than a soft rounded cone shape. Nice job.
  21. Note to self... Buy the 1/60 Vf-19 Kai and every other variation thereafter... BUT NEVER, and I MEAN NEVER LEAVE THESE IN GERWALK. The ankles are beyond comprehension. They look like a twigs.
  22. Do you really have to ask??
  23. Sorry to say, but the only two I purchased were defective. Both the VF-1S Roy (DYRL) and the VF-1D. I've learned to stay away from these. I was trully hoping these were a lot better than the other Yamato iteration but, alas they were not.
  24. Rubbing wax on the suface of the seat will help, as if would prevent contact from the seat to the pilot. Using a rag or peice of paper will only make the pilot stick to the object used as for interferance.
  25. I wouldn't recommend you clear coating the pilot. If the pilot is having issues with paint transfer (via melting) then it is most likely that the paint is not drying or airing properly, on the figure. If you clear coat the figure it will never dry. These are the basic effects when painting a vinyl kit with enamels.
