Just a little dirt goes a long way. Excellent job, Rabidweezil.

What?!? VF's already come with tires.

1/60 DYRL VF-1A H. Kakizaki - WEATHERED Interesting that this never debuted anywhere, but only at HLJ.

Oh the memories... I have a couple of Jung customs. I'll take pics and post them later.

What's wrong with my Yamato, Bandai, etc.

See previous posts in the "Customs" section. Currently, there are three people who are in the process of customizing the 1/3000 SDF to various degrees. Look these up and you should find more information than you need or deem helpful. Sorry to hear about your QC issue. Good Luck. -
g3173, Those are priceless. Nice to see a working airbrake, amongst various other mods, on that 1/55 Roy. I still have a bunch of 1/55 mod parts that will one day be used on a custom.

For instructions and how-to, see SDF-Macross episode "Daedalus Attack".

Logos, That is a very impressive collection. I used to do the same, years prior, but it was just too distracting. Now I keep everything at home displayed in the garage/hobby area.

Fixing Hasegawa 1/48 VF-1S instrument panel mistake
nightmareB4macross replied to newca's topic in The Workshop!
YaaaY!!! More Newca goodness. Great job on the previous sets. -
It's a great book to reference data from. I would highly recommend it.

Great start! Will you be adding the 1/48 PE parts as well?

If you have the 1/48 Yamato TV Max or Kakyzaki, then those would suffice, as detail(s) reference. The details placed into the optic lens is very nice, indeed. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I did realize that after I started to look at the line-art, from Macross Perfect Memory (oh, the irony).

Wow, Mike, that is an incredible build. Can't wait to build mine.

Just assembled my Zentradi soldier and found out you can use only Revoltech joints to assemble it and not have to use glue to keep it together. The resin ball joints on the neck and waist were removed. Then a hole was drilled in their place to accept a Revoltech joints. All the joints used fit in pretty well, but were a little loose. An easy fix to this problem was to crimp the shaft of the joints. This made everything fit well and snug. Also, a double jointed joint was used in the elbow for more poseability. The joint in the neck and the waist allow for more flexability, as well.
