  1. They stole "Master" WMCheng's pics too. ...no wait... I like looking at these pics.
  2. That VF-17 looks incredible. Can't wait to see the final colors selected. Graham, will the finish on this be matte or flat??
  3. Those look pretty good. I like the red you chose on the Q-Rau. What color is it? Why not just try working on the Milia figure. "Practice makes perfect."

    VF-1X Frame

As seen in SDF-M, this will be the stripped down valkyrie hanging in the maintenance hangar. With a very slight variation of the version shown in the TV show, this one will be complete, full of lineart gimmicks, and completely transformable just like the lineart. Refernces from are variety of sources are being used, but due to the limits of retaining a strong and intact transformable valkyrie certain parts are not all that exact. More to come...
  5. This is my personal opinion by the facts you have presented and my own willingness to buy. Good luck on you sales should you decide to sell these.
  6. Graham, Those broken areas are just like those of the VF-0A/S. Would there really be any reason to bring this issue up to Yamato? The only thing they could do is move on an use different types of plastics. Would using POM for joints ever become an option? Sure, it might be a bit more expensive, but at least it would do the job well. Hopefully, Yamato can use this should they ever attempt make a revised version of the YF-19. BTW - Do the new VF-19(s) use this same material?? I would hate to think what future holds for these new releases. As it is, I have already come to the conclusion that no matter what Yamato product I buy, I am ready to accept the worst case scenario. Invest in PlaticWeld. It works.
  7. Definitely, great advice. If you still feel you need some sort of protectant from the vapors, just use a dust mask with the well ventilated outdoors.
  8. I noticed the same thing. Last night's episode was hilarious.
  9. Looks really nice. I hope this materializes an actual product. The scult looks like an updated "Joke Machine". Now, if you could make this transform, I would be all over it.
  10. I would like a V.3, please.
  11. The 1/3000 is actually an old Takatoku. It's been customized and repainted. Decals and a few other touches need to be done to it. Check "my gallery" for more pics.

  12. Well, you could wait. But in the meantime, you could put in a temporary stand in until the release of the revised and better version. For myself, if Yamato does decide to re-do the YF-19, then the two standard versions I have will be made into altenate color schemes, ala VF-19A (VF-X "Ravens") and VF-19A (Macross the Ride). Either way, it's a win-win situation.
  13. Looks like Milia had too much wine before the dance. Looking good.
  14. VF-4 The lineart with the Super Parts looks eeriely like the pre-cursor to the VF-25 Armor Packs. Will this come with Super Parts??? Pulling off the slender look of the fighter is going to complicate dimensions of the battroid. I for one wouldn't mind a slight thickened version of the main body. If Yamato sticks too closely to the lineart, the battroid thighs will look too thin and awkward. Just my opinion. So, when can we see the first renderings???
  15. Since it's been established that it's not the VF-0D. Could it be the VF-0B. I've looked for references to the head variant, but haven't found anything. Hopefully, someone come find the answer.
  16. The YF-19 really isn't that bad. Of all the modes, GERWALK is my favorite. The gullet almost dissapears because the GERWALKS extremities tend to move your eyes away from the "undesirable" area. If I were you, I would just buy the newer tighter standard version. Or opt for the custom "Bird of Prey" or "Double Nut" varieties. All three are solid to boot.
  17. The lineart of the head shown is from the VF-0D. As Kanji, said it is probably preliminary art work, then that would mean the head found it's way to the two-seater Phoenix. While the VF-0A variant recieved a newly developed head we already accustomed to.
  18. Kicker773, Those are incredible displays, to say the least! If only you could take pictures of each shelf. The glare hinders a lot of viewing pleasure.
  19. Hmm... magnets would work pretty well in this situation, on the legs. The canons would attach at the wing roots. The only parts I would really be worried about are how short the leg missle holsters are in battroid mode. You can clearly see in the lineart that the holsters are longer than the lower part of the leg while in fighter mode. The canons on the back boosters shouldn't be too tough, if Yamato were to design them to extend similar to the knees of the VF-0S to accomate GERWALK mode, it just might work.
  20. If that is the case, then here's to obtaining another useless box. But, let's be optimistic, as it just might happen.
