I really wanted to like Diamos.. but after reports of paint being chipped off after repeated transformations.. well.. There's suppose to be a repaint of it I heard. Like the GX-31V Voltes V. If they fix the issues with it, I might reconsider.

I just recieved a box of 5 Cylons figures from the Razor movie. These things are cool. Very retro but with that "terminator" feel to it. Lots of movable joints (I counted 30) and pnuematic pistons (and most of them work!) without being a floppy mess. The plastic used is sturdy and hold the details well. And these things are huge even by action figure standards. Over 8 inches tall with their legs fully extended. There are two versions of this baby, the Guardian and the Warrior. Both have standard base bodies but the warrior is a shared exclusive to various online stores. Both differ in head sculpts and armor, but both look cool in their own right. It would of been nice if they came out with a gold command version. Diamond Select did a wonderful job with these figures. I might pick up "Husker" Adama and make a nice diorama/fight scene (mid-air?) If I can get hold of a camera I'll be sure to post some pics. -
Ummm..what happened here? Did I miss something?

Thanks!! I definitely dont want that then (removing parts to change a pose) I was also looking into the 1/18 calamity dog by CMS. I was going to order it thru HLJ. Its on sale for 79 dollars but they wanted a whopping 52 dollars for shipping via EMS!?!?! Ridiculous!!

Does anyone have any of Cm's Blue Knight Berserga figures? I know they're roughly above 5 inches tall (15cm?) Are they any better than the max factory ones in terms of articulation and design? I wanted this set.

BBTS and HLJ used to be real good in prices and in shipping times. Used to be..
-
HLJ should learn from Overdrive. It takes days for my orders to get processed and shipped from HLJ. My orders from Overdrive arrive at my door step within four days minimum, six days maximum. I've heard good stuff about Angolz, but I havent ordered from them as of yet.

If anyone's intrested.. Retro Cylon Guardians and Cylon Warriors figures are out (from Razor) They look cool. At 20 points of articulation, you cant go wrong!! -
Thanks Graham... Im surprise you/he hasnt lost the head yet. My son is almost 5 but I wouldnt buy him something that expensive to play with lol. Granted, my collection will all be his.. gradually.

Up against the fence on this one. The reason I didnt buy the first one was because of the reports of the figure being massively loose. Now they say its all tight, there slight mold changes and some added articulation. I dont mind the recolor either and its tank mode is so-so. Its just something stopping me from buying it. Anyone out there with on-hand pics, reviews besides whats on youtube and robotjapan?

Damn, I'm tempted to get this as well. Its the only Yamato I don't have in my collection. But for that price even with shipping is very tempting.

My old 1/48 VF-1J in Battroid mode fell from my shelf (2 feet!) and landed face first unto my linoleum floor. Nothing broke, he was still holding on to his gun!!

A few pages back it was mentioned that the VF-25S had a collapsible neck. I know my Alto has one ( I thought he had no neck either). Maybe People aren't swinging their's up? Its on a ball joint (two actually) You sort of have to swing it forward, then there's another at the base of the neck assembly which gives it a couple of microns lol. Hard to explain. Fiddle with it. It's not a yamato, so it wont break lol -

Yeah the Fokker's dead Legs are gone. But I kept the arms. I had to cut right under the armpits to make him fit in there.
