  1. I've had mine for a week and besides the overall looseness of the figure in battloid mode (which was fixed) its fine. Nothing missing, broken or mismatched. I got mine from Imageanime.
  2. I found why they were so loose as I took the legs apart to attempt to fix its looseness (and was successful in atleast tightening the knee swivels and the shakey hip joints.) There's no hope in tightening the joints that rachet because theyre all held together each by one metal hinge (two rachet joints, two hinges in each leg) And there's nothing inside the leg joints to brace it or keep it from being so wobbly. I wish I can take pictures of it to explain it a little better but I glued the outer thigh halves in place after preforming the surgery
  3. Yup, they're very lightly glued (the white armor parts) just pry them open with a tiny flat head screw driver, then unscrew the screw underneath that to loosen the joint out. You can add nail polish, a piece of rubber band or use what I used.. a thin piece of neoprene rubber. It has a spongey texture with enough rubber for friction. Just wedge it inside the joint then put the bicep back on. Make sure to squeeze the two halves together tightly while your putting the screw back in. Next is to glue (Model glue) the bicep armor back on and VIOLA!! no more loose bicep. It worked for me. I hope it works for you.
  4. err... they do? pics please?
  5. nice pics. any with the qRau?
  6. The missles from the 1/48 fit fine on the VF-0. The fast packs and super parts I havent tried. I doubt it'll hold though being how heavy those boosters are AND that there's no actual locking mechanism on the VF-0's backpack, so it'll just flop around.
  7. Actually its quite the opposite. I spent the weekend doing surgery to tighten joints on the legs, which wasnt very difficult to take apart at all. Just make sure you have one of those jeweler's philips screwdrivers handy. The shoulder joint is easy enough to dismantle and tighten also. I stuck a (tiny) neoprene rubber piece in the ball joint to tighten that up. But below that, the bicep swivel joint, well I left it as it is cause I couldnt get to it without breaking it (its glued)
  8. Thats around 6 inches isnt it?
  9. Dont get me wrong, its a great acheivement of engineering yamato has done.. I'm just not happy with the general "floppiness" of the figure. Gun pod is loose, back pack, knees (swivels) etc.. I find the 1/48's to be alot more stable.
  10. I'd like to, but there's no way for me to get to the joints this time. The arms (in the swivel part) seemed to be sonically welded, hardly no visible screws anywhere
  11. Mine's knees are loose too (the swivel joint) I dont know if you guys want to try this, but all I did was wrap a thin rubberband into the joint itself (its hidden) So that part was fixed. Anyone have loose upper arm swivels?
  12. 1/48 V-F0? that would of nice. Big. and EXPENSIVE. Just imagine how big the box would've been. I laughed when mine came in. I thought it was a computer!! I had to to justify to the wife why we're spending $200 for a toy for me. She said that I had no x-mas gift this year, that mine already came
  13. When I got their (BBTS) email stating that their shipment wasnt coming til the 12th, I panicked, cancelled my pre-order and and got it from a place that was a little bit more expensive but DID have it in stock. He shouldnt have mentioned that japan is already running low in stock, I was afraid he wouldnt be able to fullfill my order.. ***sigh*** Oh well got it now. Though Im not 100 percent happy with it, its free of defects but not free of my heavy expectations lolz
  14. Arent the knees ratcheting joints? Define loose please. I'm getting scared
  15. Speaking of which, I wonder where Mr Graham went. He's been quiet lately.
  16. I pre-ordered from BBTS months ago and it was slated for $164. I looked this morning it was $174. Now this afternoon it shot up to $184 and it isnt even in stock. They're expecting their shipment around May 12. I wonder if I should just cancel or wait. Image anime's stock is going fast....
  17. Ugghhh!!! This absolutely going to suck if I get mine like that. With my luck, I may get the one with the right shoulder. Who puts these things together anyways and for that matter, isn't anyone supervising these assemblers?
  18. I havent had this feeling since the birth of my 2 kids!!! Excited!!! Anxious and frustrated at the same time
  19. Your still in business Kevin? I thought you stopped? Then again, I havent stopped by your website in a while. You should've told me, I could of pre-ordered from you.

  21. Thanks for the pics, they look sweet! No I don't think i have seen those before either. Wow only a little over a week to go till release date. I want to see a pic with this VF-0S Roy side by side with a 1/48 VF-1S Roy to compare. 390237[/snapback] (This is from macrossworld.com) Its not Roy's, but it is a 1/48 VF-1J (or "A"?) next to a VF-O for size comparison
  22. No? Oh well. I'll save the mods the trouble and take it off myself... It's funny.. how I havent change those avatars and sigs for almost 2 years. it's only now that I got "caught".
