  1. That Motoslave looks cool. Reminds me of an Invid ground trooper.
  2. I was about to order this figure, then poof!! suddenly "Out of stock"
  3. Got the Walker Gallia today. Its a nice figure, really tiny but has some heft to it. Nicely engineered and very posable. I havent gotten to assembling the Durun yet.. Nice companion figure. Im really waiting on a good Ideon review once its out then I'll think about getting it. King Joe is a must get though, he really looks cool!!
  4. I met Arnold at his premiere of Conan the Barbarian in NYC back in the day, Lidnsey Wagner (from the Bionic Woman TV series), Hulk Hogan (close enough that I can smell his BO lol) The late Pope, Chuck Norris, that bad old asian guy from "Big Trouble in Little china" (his name escapes me at the moment) and various Asian actors unknown here in the states.
  5. After watching collectiondx's review of the Garland on youtube, I decided not to get it. Really floppy
  6. I got these pics from Mediworld forums Posted by "edwint52". I have one, but my camera isnt that good. Definitely durable, I dont know about that broken hip one people have been talking about (hey some people just play rough) and if anything, I think the SPEC EVA1 is alot more posable than the SOC one (even with the armor on). Its even a little bit more detailed than the SOC. Dont mind he color at all. Its alot different in person. Downside? Not enough diecast and maybe they could of added more posablity to the armored head. Enjoy..
  7. I got this from HLJ.. It looks like they're saying it can be snapped off?
  8. Dancouga is a nice big figure.. IF you dont mind the loose head and hands. If it were me I'd get the Ideon (the pics changed my mind Lolz).. BUT if your a die-hard Starblazers fan, go definitely with the YAMATO. I'd like to BUT I have no space for it. Lights, sounds (the wave motion gun and engine is amazing!!) and movable turrets (motorized)!!
  9. Talking base? I thought this being a SOC/SPEC figure that it'll be at least as big as the SPEC EVA-01... So sad if this was the case.. *sigh*
  10. Honestly, I never seen this anime but this figure looks real nice. It looks like some sort of proto gundam. Anyone else have any news about this figure..Like when is it due out, how big it is or what its diecast content is etc? Photos Courtesy of Protoform-S of Greattoys forums
  11. I took a chance and bought the Strike dog. I was deathly afraid it would be just another repaint/recolored scopedog with a couple of new remolded parts... Lo and behold its about 95% new molding. Not only is it bigger in bulk and weight (well, maybe just a little) It actually improved in its design... I was impressed with the articulated helmet. It moves freely a full 280 degrees AND it doesnt fall off!!! Its not without its faults though... the locking mechanisms that keep the shins from moving forward are weak on both legs (to go in its "down" mode).. atleast on mine anyway.. In fact, its rather floppy... Fixed it, Happy now.
  12. The IDEON Looked nice in its proto's, but the final product is too ORANGE?RED for me.. I'll pass.
  13. Whoa!! That's a scarey pic. It looks like someone's playing rough with their SPEC's. Probably a sabatuer from yamato lol!! Please treat them gently
  14. Man, I am so late in the game that Im wondering why I never picked this SOC up before... So yeah, I just got my SOC Gunbuster in today and it blows the YF-19 out the sky so much, it can fly rings around it in terms of transforming engineering (so what if you have to take parts off?) durability, articulation AND especially QC!!! Yamato should plant a spy over at Bandai's so they can pick up a few pointers on how to build a REAL good quality toy/figure/mecha!! On the hunt for Voltes V now... (yeah I know Im working backwards lol) Im really happy with this figure..Til the coming of the SV-51!!
  15. Ok thanks, I was trying to find out why there was a 7000 yen difference between the two. I just thought it was mark-up And Oh, dejr8bud we were talking about the 2 Takara versions.
  16. Is the 1/18 Strike Dog bigger than he previously release Scopedog?
  17. Has anyone tried to "lock" the torso in place with mods or with some kind of clip? I know that sounds stupid. I can live with the gerwalk mode not locking down but the non-locking torso puts me off a bit.
  18. I for one would like to see ratcheting joints on the hips and shoulders. the ball joints are floppy on most yamatos.
  19. Hey, thanks!! I didnt know that one. Thats a real amazing piece of work. Kudos to these guys at takara/tomy.
  20. Got mine today too!! I had more fun with this than I had with the YF-19!!! By the way, You can move that MG34 bi-pod closer (attached by a clip) to the beginning of the barrel so he'll have an easier time holding it.
  21. Uhmmm read again.. If THAT doesnt include Mospeada (referring that mospeada is not included in the MACROSS mythos).. I'd say it would BE Cyclones or Alphas Did you have your latte' today?
  22. Non-Macross? If that doesnt include Mospeada.. I'd say it will either be a Cyclone or an Alpha figher (Perhaps with a Beta?) Sigh... When will we know?
  23. What do you guys think of the RAH 220? They seemed to have upgraded the base bodies for these.. Sorta of like a mini version of the 1/6 ones (with double joints and knees) I remember the old 1/8 ones, The bodies were fragile and the costumes were terrible (to the point that they disintergrate in time) I picked up Kamen Rider 1 in 220.. its a pretty tight figure in both sculpt and design. It differs from the 80's (?) version in paint apps and internal base body.
  24. Well I just had a feeling there would be a delay in BBTS's order so I cancelled. They're usually not BTW. anyways, Im glad I pre-ordered with Image anime. Their pre-orders usually arent bad if you order early enough.
  25. Amen to that..but every once in awhile I do pre-order with them... With "local" stuff. When it comes down to yammies, takara and other overseas stuff hard to obtain, I have other sources. Im happy to say I've had my YF-19 for 2 weeks now.. Im not a big fan of waiting.
