The Anime Junkies //DUSK fansub sucked big ones anyway, just like all their releases. Avoid them like the plague. From what I've gathered, "Kadun" is basically their word for Demon. Sara's always talking about them as though they're supernatural things that can be invoked by curses and such.

I guess we know who to blame if the subtitles end up with AJ'ish quality.
