Okay, the Toynami ones come with a kick ass stand, missiles, armor, and are PT for $25. I don't care if the VF-25 is bigger, it shouldn't be more than $30, should include armor and a stand. Bandai is just f-ing greedy b/c they have a licensed monopoly on the market.

So, in the realm of FPS's, what's coming out or is already out that's still popular? I read about Call of Duty World at War, but there are some very mixed reviews about the beta? I"m mainly concerned with online multiplayer (xbox live).

Anyone else get a "Video not available in your country" message? I'm in the US...

Yeah, that's how I beat this too. Also, I used the gun pod a lot at that close range to do massive damage very quickly (even un-upgraded the gun is great).

Anyone else think the new theme song/intro song sucks? I loved the two intro songs from the first season, but this new one just doesn't suit the show IMO.

Mainly, I unlocked pilots via S ranks.

I unlocked Brera by S-ranking Macross Frontier mission 7. It unlocked Luca too if I remember correctly.

Anyone think the extra levels that are "password" protected will have super secret fighters to unlock? I know it's doubtful, but has anyone read any cheater spoilers to see if the extra levels offer anything extra as a prize?

Actually, I think you have to have S or higher on all levels as well. I have used the YF-21 way more than 10 times and I have an S rank on all but 0 mission and I can't go past the tune limit. Edit: Decreasing the number of S ranks I lack...I'm done! And when I finished, it unlocked the upper limits... I'm gonna hold off a little while longer on posting a save file. I'm gonna get my pilot up to 99999 pilot points so I can have all the pilot skills unlocked. And again, does anyone know of a way to change the pilot's name? And something else weird. I have S rank or higher on ALL levels, but in my VF list under the Record section. I still have a question mark on one fighter. It is below the FZ-109F, to the left of the VF-171, and above the VF-171EX. Any idea what this is or how to unlock it? I've also yet to unlock the Vajra Queen...

Just tried playing as the Macross and as Battle Frontier...freaking awesome! I love firing the Macross Cannons/Cannon. It's really cool that they let you aim them while firing. Still working on those three missions mentioned in my last post. Got A's on all of them, just need S ranks to have S or SS on every mission (minus the password missions that haven't come out yet).

Honestly, I don't think it's a question of "IF" Bandai knows what a $50 toy should look like. It's a question of whether they will actually do what they know they should. Right now, all we get is a partformers that is inferior to the model kits. It's twice the price of Toynami's 1/100's, which for $25 you can get one with armor and a crap load of accessories that I don't see coming with that one. I think Bandai is giving us the short end of the stick on these, so I'm hoping they learn from these and release armor/missiles/stands with future molds.

Something I just thought about...I hope the repaints don't delay other designs and are just going to fill in time between mold releases.

Is it me, or does Ranka look absolutely nuts in some of her loading screen images? Seriously, she looks straight up psychotic in some of them... Only four more levels to S-rank... I can't tell you how annoying it is to see a freaking armored or super valk during the wait screen and it not be in the game... Oh well, I'm sure they will be in MAF2, which I'm sure they'll make.

Same here. I like them better than Macross Quarter. I just don't think Quarter looks all that Macross like while Battle Frontier looks like the kick ass "Battle" ship from M7. I've wanted one of those ever since I saw it in M7...

I can't access the bottom pic, but the Gundam PSP is sick! I'd honestly consider getting one if I knew it was moddable.

Seriously, it works if you do it right. You just have to make sure you don't have a "blob" of paint on the end. It doesn't hold as much paint as a brush, so you have to re-dip the blade more often, but my panel lines and thin lines are thinner than the model pen I have. I hope the super packs are removable so I can stick them on Michel's. Or even better, I'll just hope Michel's comes with his own set of Super parts!

I have always used the knife method. I put the very tip of my exacto under a corner, lift the sticker off, and carefully slide it on where I want it. Since I have stubby fingers too, the exacto knife works great! But then again, I have excellent control over stuff (I even use the exacto to paint panel lines sometimes b/c of how fine a line it puts down if done right...)

I have to say I can't see them selling the armor separate. Bandai just doesn't do stuff like that in there model kits. It's also economically smarter to release the armor with a kit, so that people who bought the original have to buy the new one too. I know it's not "right" for them to do that, but it's how the market works. I fully expect an Ozma with "Armor" to come out down the road, so I wouldn't even consider getting the un-"Armored" version. Now, for the toys, I can see them doing it separately, but not model kits. Aside from that, I still think the Super version looks INCREDIBLE and blows the DX out of the water. Can't wait! Can anyone make out release dates or prices on any cards or background images?

Awesome pics. But that website owner REALLY needs to redo that website. So much clutter that the pics time out. I can definitely see myself getting the Super Alto, the Michel (which I'll hope includes Super gear), the Luca if it has 3 ghosts (maybe 1 ghost if someone on the boards will be making casts of more. Oh, and I'll even get an Ozma (not a fan of his color scheme) if he has the Armor upgrade. Either way, the Models are the clear winner of the design contest in my opinion. And they aren't way too expensive, overpriced, but not too much so that I won't get them.

Agreed. But they need to do something about that gigantic crotch of doom...Ron Jeremy is getting jealous...
