Best Fantasy Hack n' Slash for Xbox?
yellowlightman replied to Dax415's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
And if you don't have OutRun2 yet, you should buy that as well. It's not a hack n' slash, but it's a game ever Xbox owner should own, especially because it's so cheap ($20!). -
How is it anonymous? Doesn't it say the sender's name?

Keanu Reeves NEW movie. A Scanner Darkly.
yellowlightman replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Nifty little effect, but i found it distracting and annoying watching the trailer... Don't think I could stand it for a full length movie. Not to mention... Keanu Reeves. I wish he would just stop. -
When I read the title I thought the exact same thing. The best thing abotu bad dubbing... there's always the Japanese language track.

~$60 is the going rate for 1GB SD and CF cards if you're shopping in the right placed, try poking around www.bensbargains.net. My point was that the Memory Sticks are considerably more expensive than SD or CF cards, which they are. -
One of my best friends is a HUGE DB9 fan and can't wait to the see the DB9R in action-- we're plannong on going to the San Jose race later this year, which should be awesome. Looking forward to this year's F1 season, as I'm curious to see if the rule changes will bring about any change in the heirarchy there. The FIA seems to be desperately trying to get someone ahead of Schumacher. Makes me wish we had real racing on TV, only chance to see F1 or World Rally Championship is on the SPEED channel at weird hours. But NASCAR runs on so many channels so damn often, not fair I tell ya.

Chill dude. You go around acting all badass with a sailor's mouth, and yet you can't take a little joke? Either way, I doubt that's the last we'll see of Nanashi. He's been working on his site for so long I doubt he'd just give it up, I'd say just give him time till he cools down.

GM is not ashamed to throw big rebates at cars that don't sell. I remember Suburbans having something insane, like $8k in rebates last year. Although part of it is that American cars generally have a highe rprofit margin on them for the dealership, opposed to Japanese cars. I agree it's a funky car, and I don't think they should have called it the GTO. Not to mention the fact that it looks like a glorified Cavalier, but it's still a damn good car. No opinion on the 300C Hemi, but I think I'd go for the GTO over the Mustang GT. The Mustang has the looks, but the handling is trash and has a solid-rear. The interior of the GT is nice, but I think the retro look would get tiring after a while. With the GTO redesign this year, I think the GTO is also firmly ahead of the Mustang in terms of performance as well. Not to mention everyone and their Grandma is going to be driving a new Mustang, the GTO is a bit more unique.

Those Yamato BGC figures look awesome, glad to see they also had a BU33C Boomer and a Priss figure, hopefully that's a sign we'll get some figures besides just the Hardsuits, which is what I was expecting. How much are they going for? I couldnt read the sign in the picture? -
We don't really need any meaninful contributors to the site anyways. Thanks Duke! Making MW a better place, one harassment at a time.

Not sure what your budget is, but definately check out the new Pontiac GTO. Could care less what people say about it, it's a damn good car and thanks to the fact that they're not selling so great, they're discounting them heavily. I've seen them get into the $25k range. At my dealership's Christmas party our GM rep showed us his new company car, an new GTO. Looks boring as hell on the outside, but the interior is great (leaps and bounds above the usual American car interior) and the nifty backseats were very cool. Not to mention it's a screamer. We were talking about it not selling so well and he told me "Giving this car to a Pontiac dealership is like giving a super model to a 90-year old man. He can look at it, and he knows it's pretty, but damned if he knows what the hell to do with it."

Would be helpful if you explained what that trivia format was.

I wonder why they had a copy of Adam Warren's P.O.S. Bubblegum Crisis comic book 'Grand Mal' behind the BGC toys? Very weird.

Has anyone posted pictures of the Yamato Bubblegum Crisis figures yet? -
Ebay is utterly ridiculous sometimes. I had a couple of auctions for Japanese N64 games cancelled because I mentioned that you'd have to have a modified N64 to play them, the reason for cancelling was something to the effect of selling or providing information about 'mod chips.' Ignoring for a second that the N64 doesn't use a mod chip.

They're from Konami's giant robot game, the hook is that you're the little boy (maybe the little girl too) and have to control the mecha from the ground. Like the odl Tetsujin series. The name of the game escapes me though... Might be worth your while to look through the archives of The MagicBox, I could've sworn they did a little preview of this game in the last week or two.

Ahhh, that explains it. It's not attractive, but then again... no Subaru's really are. You don't buy Subaru's for looks.

Which is still quite a bit, considering that 1GB CF and SD go for around $60 nowadays. Isn't proprietary media grand? Don't worry, there's always 3rd party support. Er, or not. The problem with the Sony Memory Sticks is that Sony (as far as I know) is the only company that makes them, meaning that they'll always be more expensive. -

No, it just says that the first two were manufactured by the Macross 7 fleet.

Looks very european, maybe Subaru is getting tired of getting pounded by Citroen in the WRC.
