1. So would it be for people who were banned or peopel who drifted away?
2. Banned. 344766 Oddly enough, I ran into the guy on another non-anime forum. We talked a bit on MSN, he's not such a bad guy... just has an abrasive internet persona. Kinda like a few other members on here...
3. But it sold a ton of XBox's, which is why MS wanted it. As someone who has played more Halo 2 than just about any other game I think of, I found the first Halo really boring. A lot of the levels in the single player campaign were just lazy and/or unecessarily confusing. I got through most of the game on co-op with a friend, but that was because it was the only game we had around at the time. I'd say that there's a lot better games available for the PC, and you're better off picking up one of them.
4. It's more like... American cars = Shitty Resale. I don't mean that in a poo-stirring way, just how it is. Look at cars like the late-80's Camry wagon and compare it with the same era Chevy Nova (same car, just rebadged) and see which has held it's value better. Same deal with Corolla's and rebadged Corolla's under the Geo name. The names of these new Ford's suck. The Five Hundred, the Fusion and the Milan? Not horrible names, just weird and not really appropriate for Ford's I think. Besides, this is the only Milan(o) I'll ever recognize...
5. I think the square button has been modified on all PSPs since the second run of them, given the poor press the initial run got in regards to the button sticking.
6. Isnt it funny that stuff keeps popping up for a show that supposedly had negative profit? 344601 Considering that products have to be prepared before airing dates so that they can show up in stores when the show starts airing, it's really not that funny. Tatsunoko made a big push for Southern Cross to be a popular show, so it makes sense they'd try to merchandise the crap out of it. A better thing to look at would be all the merchandise that didn't come out after the show's run got cut short.
7. My Mom recently bought a Mazda6 hatchback with the 4cyl and automatic transmission. Even with the smaller motor and wuss-box tranny it's still a fun car and great to drive. The best in the segment I'd say, and unlike the Ford Fusion or Mercury Milan... it'll actually hold it's value!
8. You guys are forgetting that it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning is winning. AgentOne lives his life a quarter mile of a time, and he's never, never going back.
9. Yeah, someone posted a list earlier in the thread of compatible games and I'd expect that list to grow in the future, but for the time being not every XBox game is supported. I'd say buy the games you want, and chances are they'll end up being supported or if not... In a year or so, XBox's won't exactly be expensive...
10. As lame as the limited backwards compatibility is, it's not as though I was planning on getting rid of my XBox any time soon. I've got more systems than I need already, so why bother trying to cut down now? As far as I'm concerned, the most important thing is that we'll be able to play Halo 2 properly with the new 360 controllers. Being able to fire, melee and throw grenades without having to take your thumbs off the thumb sticks... I can't wait.
11. Pretty cool that there's a coloring book that managed to survive un-colored and unscathed by the kids of the time.
12. Yeah, because so many SUV's are made for use off road.
13. Well, there's different regions for movies, right?
14. I think Japan is actually 110volts? Either way, it doesn't matter too much. I plus my Japanese PS2, laptop and cell phone into my 120v wall sockets all the time and I haven't had any problems.
15. And yet your signature says: Don't worry, once you get past the denial and accept it, you can step out of the closet a proud man.
16. Except the 240SX came with the KA24DE, while in Japan the 180SX and Silvia came with the CA18DET and later the SR20DET. There is a reason why so many people do the SR20 swap...
17. Hrmm... what was that about whining fanboys, BSU?
18. Hey A7, I didn't see the announcement that they made you a mod. Congratulations!
19. A couple of weeks ago I ended up re-watching HEAT two or three times, one of which was with Mann's commentary. The guy is a genius, plain and simple. I can't wait for the Miami Vice movie...
20. I think there would need to be some kind of homebrew app for that to work. 343485 Well, yeah, I'm just surprised there hasn't been any products like that released given how much more affordable SD/CF cards are and the larger sizes they offer.
21. Given how amazing OutRun 2 was, I have high hopes for Afterburner Climax. Sega still has a lot of talent lef tin it, so hopefully it'll deliver.
22. I'm curious as to why someone hasn't made a USB adaptor for SD or CF cards yet for the PSP. SD and CF is waaaaaay cheaper than Sony's Memory Stick.
23. I'm not a toy guy, but I love Bubblegum Crisis so I picked up a Priss figure for the hell of it. As nifty as the toy is, it really feels more like a $25 toy than the $60-75 it seems to be going for. Luckily I got mine for a bit cheaper, but I'm not sure I'd pick it up if I knew what I know now, although that might just be because I'm currently unemployed and short on money. But as a fan of BGC I will say it's cool to have some decent merchandise from the series after all these years. I'm hoping the prices go down a bit so I can pick up the other three Knight Sabers for a complete set. I really can't see myself recommending these to anyone but big BGC fans, and they are certainly cheaper than picking up one of the old garage kits.
24. I'm not sure why an Elise wouldn't be a good daily driver. Stiff suspension? That can be annoying to some, but it's also fun and the price you pay for a car that handles so well. Not to mention the motor is a Toyota 4cylinder, can't get much more "everyday" than that.
