    People who hate the first F&TF movie are dumb. It's hilarious and fairly competent as an action movie as long as you don't expect too much of the car sequences. The script is amazing quoteable.

    I'm not a huge Patlabor fan, but I have a hard time resisting such a cool limited edition. I'll probably pick it up in the next day or too. How in depth is the 184 page source book? Does it include a lot of text? If nothing else it'll give me something to have Izabuchi sign at AX this year...

    I was underwhelmed by the Halo trailer. Considering the treatment Halo 2 got in its E3, this was less than inviting. If people didn't say that it was in-game footage, I would dismiss it as a useless pre-rendered teaser. 399082[/snapback] It wasn't a trailer! It was a *TEASER* It wasn't designed to give you anything but a few hints about the game.

    Chrono, what the hell are you arguing about? I fail to see how you can be upset at Nintendo's new control schemes (the Wii and the DS) while NOT complaining about the fact Sony has been using the same shoddy controller for the last 10 years.

    What is there to congratulate them about? For sticking with their inferior controller design? The Playstation controller has been garbage since the day it came out; it was bested by the Saturn's controller for 2D games and by the N64's for 3D (notice how Sony had to add on the dual sticks to make it passable at 3D games). Their decision to keep it around for the PS2 was pure laziness, and a sign that as top dog they've lost any desire to innovate. The d-pad is garbage, the face buttons feel horrible, it has no triggers. It's a controller that hasn't worked since day one, and SOny sticking more and more crap on (or into) it isn't going to change that.

    Exactly. Enjoying nasty hoochies hanging off of a car is probably a good sign you're in the hobby for the wrong reasons. A car is beautiful and impressive enough without some sillicon-soaked bimbo needing to make it "better." As for the solid-read in hte new Mustang, I though it was there because solid rears were better for drag racing? This is a Mustang guys, not a Miata.
