    I've spent the last two days vegging out and playing Crackdown, and I gotta say this is one hell of a game. Initially it seems a bit shallow, but after maxing out all my stats (except for driving arrgh, still stuck at two stars) it's just a ton of fun. It's by far the best GTA wannabe, and in a lot of ways I'd say it's vastly superior to the GTA series. It's just so much... fun. There's always something you can find to mess around with or blow up, or climb up. I've probably enjoyed the climbing aspect the most, and climbing to the top of the AGency HQ was very cool. All in all what I expected to be a mediocre game that came for free with the Halo 3 beta has turned out to be a fantastic game in it's own right.

    Yeah that's rough man... You get a free iPod and then you have to a USB cable and headphones. Poor you. You want something to play games on... go buy a Gameboy. But then you'd have to buy games! Probably not even worth it at that point, right?

    I watched a couple episodes of Naruto, it was a two-parter about an hour long written test the main characters had to take. Yeah, that's right. 60 minutes of TV show about a 60 minute written test. F*cking ridiculous. The absolute dumbest thing I'd ever seen.

    Might want to cut back on the effects done to the voices. It's really difficult to hear most of the characters.

    Why bother fandubbing something that has, by most accounts, a pretty competent dub?

    Took me a couple plays to really enjoy Crackdown. Building up your strength to kick around cars or upgrading your agility to leap crazy far is really fun. Probably the first GTA clone to be really interesting and different, IMO, in that it's more interesting to get around on foot than to drive.

    I'd definately be interested in going to a MW Con this year, especially since last year I cut my attendance short due to Anime Expo. It's still pretty early, I'm guessing a lot of people just aren't ready to commit to attending, yet.

    I was hoping the art would be a bit bigger, but it's still a cool magazine. Dropped into the SF store yesterday with a few friends and picked up a copy along with a tshirt and over priced sweatshirt (the downside of going into cool stores while drunk is that I tend to hand over my credit card without much thought). Would be exceptionally cool if you found a way for all these designs to get properly published, Roger.

    The more I played GOW the less I liked the multiplayer. Singe player was fun, but GOW was too frustrating and had too many stupid quirks than only managed to piss me off. I enjoy the Lost Planet multiplayer a lot more, although I haven't been playing that much online either. Anyone download the Battlestations: Midway demo? Takes a while to get used to, but it seems like an awesome game.

    Pretty sure Manga got the rights to Orguss after LA Hero went under. I have the first four volumes they released of Orguss, dubbed though.

    A pretty great line considering how much "real" anime is animated in Korea, but in this case its wannabe s*&%^$!

    Hollywood adaption.. its gonna suck. Japanese production... that'll suck too.

    Anyone else have problems with the 360 locking up to do "dirty discs?" It's happened once on my brand new copy of GOW and twice with Lost Planet. Very frustrating.
