  1. Yeah, considering how popular all the series released after Gundam Wing were, it's alllllll Bandai's fault. It wasn't Bandai's fault, there just wasnt enough interest in the older series to maintain such a large retail presence. Sure, they f'ed up the Zeta release but at that point it was pretty much all over anyways.
  2. Are your friends in middle school or something?
  3. ...and that they're trying to make things right.
  4. If a cases of borked machines is causing you to avoid buying a 360 then all I can say is, your loss? I mean, the vast majority of people have had no problems with their 360's.
  5. I'd be down for either of those, and I haven't even picked up an Ingram yet.
  6. No need for HDMI, a barely full hard drive and a hatrid for black consoles means no Elite for me.
  7. The consensus is that it's too early to tell. But so far the 360 has the games, the Wii has the gimmicks and the PS3 has the disapointment.
  8. Or more importantly, what's up with that wacky song?
  9. Ugh, the Eva has got to be one of the most overdone designs in toys and models. Definitely giving the RX-78 a run for it's money.
  10. What. How would you get that idea from "No 19, 11 or 21?"
  11. Given that aside from Evangelion, the Revoltech line really hasn't attempted to do more than a handful of toys from each series I'd say it's highly doubtful we'd ever get Destroids or anything beyond the VF-1.
  12. And for the love of God don't make it a comedy. Seems like most of the comics we've seen around here have been joke strips, and they nearly all sucked. Keep it simple and have some people who arent afraid to give good criticism read over the script.
  13. Wondering if this licensing had anything to do wih Youtube's crackdown on Orguss videos. An old Orguss commercial I had on there got taken down, as well as a number of other Orguss videos.
  14. Finalized designs have been sent to the printer and I'm nor taking preorders. Please see this thread for more information: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=22290
  15. Missed it myself, from the original press release:
  16. I've just started getting into the 1/48 fold, after picking up a Stealth this summer but I think I can relate to why some people just don't understand the 1/48. It's expensive, and for most people you can get the same effect from lesser (cheaper) toys. But for those that want a near perfect, highly detailed representation of the VF-1... you have to get a 1/48. For those not in that mindset, it comes off as a bit silly. Such as my friend at Anime Expo who didn't understand why I'd buy a 1/48 when I could get lots of other VF-1 toys at much cheaper prices. Most people are happy with regular cars... some people want Ferrari's.
  17. The dub is surprisingly competent, especially when you consider when it was made, definitely made not having a sub option a lot more tolerable.
  18. Where in the press release does it say it'll be on DVD-R discs?
  19. Kind of a followup question, does anybody have any comparison shots between the 1/60 VF-0 and a 1/48 VF-1? Or a 1/60 YF-19 and a 1/48? I've tried searching and haven't been able to come up with anything. I'd like to see how they compare standing next to each other, but I've only got 1/48's.
  20. Cheap DVD's too... I'll definitely be picking them up.
  21. Not sure, I'll make a thread in the For Sale section shortly before they final designs go to the print shop.
  22. Just to clear up a couple questions, the current layout of the back will probably make it to the final shirt. I've tried a bunch of different mock-ups with the planes in different positions and this one is the only one that allows for larger pictures, without being oddly shaped (as in too narrow). I might design more shirts later, but for right now I'm just trying to get this one done.
  23. Are those scans from the Macross II RPG books?
