  1. Very strange that they're releasing this for the PS3 instead of PS2. Graphically it doesn't need the PS3, and will only be hurt due to PS3's small install base plus the fact it's a niche title to begin with.
  2. Sony recently released a new screen shot from Killzone 2, and surprise surprise, doesn't look nearly as good as they claimed it would. http://threespeech.com/blog/?p=465
  3. That must be pretty exciting just having it... sit there.
  4. The originals must have been good since they're SOLD OUT.
  5. Cool scans, I've never heard of most of these. Any chance we could get the covers in a higher resolution?
  6. In other words, you work a low-paying job while calling yourself a writer on the internet and spend your meager pennies on a Greyhound bus to Los Angeles to throw a pie in the face of a man who makes cartoons for a living. You are not an intellectual or a spokesperson for the fans, you are a mentally unbalanced loser.
  7. Line art, paintings, whatever. Needs to be large resolutions though. For an upcoming project...
  8. I forget which games Namco has released, but here's a pretty good regional compatibility chart: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-00-3-xbox360...uide-49-en.html
  9. Gonna get a lot more people who have had a console fail fill out a survey like that, vs. people who haven't and don't care. Not really the best sampling of data.
  10. Problem with that is that neither the Wii or the PS3 have games worth playing... whereas the 360 does. Anyways, 8 months and no ROD for me yet, knock on wood. None of my friends have had it either, although a friend did that a magnet in the cd spindle break off.
  11. If it's less than a year old, it should be under the one year warranty and thus Microsoft will cover it.
  12. Upcoming Votoms game for PS2: http://www.famitsu.com/game/coming/2007/06...,73350,0,0.html
  13. The sketches really don't show much. The mecha designs look boring, par for the course on Kawamori's recent designs. The characters look unoriginal.
  14. I wasn't specifically referring to you LowViz, just the discussion in general.
  15. Yeah, the best way to describe a group of people is with broad, sweeping generalizations.
  16. The the official website and current trailers running say "This film has not yet been rated." The IMDB lists no MPAA rating yet for it. Wait until it actually gets a rating before you freak out.
  17. I'm currently in the process of making an arcade style stick for my 360, seeing as how the only option right now is the DOA4 stick, which goes for well over $100 on eBay. I've got the circuit board I'll be using (a wireless controller I spiked one too many times after some frustrating GoW games) and an old redoctane arcade stick I'll be using for parts, replacing the crappy stick with a nice Sanwa one, though. I've found writeups for people making custom arcade sticks out of wired controllers, never a wireless one though. Shouldn't be too hard, just got to figure out how to make the battery pack easily accessible. Guessing there will be a lot of hot glue to counteract the effects of gravity.
  18. That isn't particularly degrading. And certainly not as bad as other member's title's have been.
  19. I really love the idea of low-print run DVD releases for older niche anime, and I'll definitely be picking up Orguss. I'm having a hard time believing there will be much of an audience for either of the other two series, but I could be wrong.
  20. I'm more anxious to see what the live-action TV series turns out like, that's still in the works, right?
  21. People need to protect themselves, whining about there being bad people in the world and expecting THEM to change is inredibly naive. You have to look after your own interests. Sucks for Master Replicas, but if they put something that coveted out in the open and in an easy place for theft then yeah, they were stupid.
  22. Half.com has a bunch of the TPB's. JoysJapanimation also has volumes 3-10: http://joysjapanimation.com/manga/novels/p.shtml
  23. I wasn't interested in R-Type Tactics until I saw the screenshots, looks like it's a side-scrolling strategy game. As the levels are viewd from the side, but you still move on a hex grid. Goofy enough it could be an interesting game.
  24. Well I was told by reputable sources 90% of everything you read on the internet is false, so...
