Whoa, thats a good price. I wonder if I should pick them up from HLJ or try and find them at a better price in local shops, which seems unlikely. At least HLJ shipping is pretty cheap domestically.

Despite being a big Patlabor fan, I'm not a big fan of the AV-0 or Griffon designs... not even the AV-98 really. But I absolutely love those sofubi toys and the designs of the "regular" labors.

Watched it last night on TV after stumbling home kinda drunk. Why they show new anime at 2am I have no idea. Thought it was okay. The characters are still incredibly ugly.

Although really, the guy makes movies that suck but they make money apparently and people see them apparently. Not sure what fault there is in that. As if the House of the Dead or Bloodrayne franchises really deserved a lot of respect, anyways.

Would also be nice if they ditched the whole FWD bullshit. But they do make some of the most amazingly beautiful cars right now. The Brera might be the most amazing looking car in production right now.

I know the communicators for the original Xbox sucked, but as anyone heard of the 360's communicators breaking? Both mine managed to break within a week of each other. The first one broke because the tip of the audio plug broke off inside the controller. A few days later my other communicator stops working as well. I can hear other people fine, but they cant hear me and all they hear is static. Ugh.

I've been worrying about the durability of the shoulder buttons, since I usually remap the fire button in shooters to the R button and thusly it gets a lot of use.

Oh yeah, it's totally their fault that you bought that toy. It was pretty well established the price wasn't confirmed. Logic and previous comments all placed the Beta's price at $150-200. You guys whining about stores not honoring these prices sound like spoiled children. You thought you were getting away with a sweet deal and now that you aren't you're acting like you've been ripped off and are entitled to something.

Legally they don't. I've had a similar problem with big name online retailers like Amazon. So you expect the shop to take it in the ass because of a mess up? And if they don't you won't do business with them? Wow, you sound like a stand up customer. I'm sure they'll miss your patronage.
