  1. Isn't a Shelby Cobra is it? Can't remember if that was Rally's or his...
  2. Thanks for the compliment . But don't be fooled. I'm 28 going on to 29 in December. My wife is 24 years old. It's the clothes that make us look young. BTW that pic was taken last New Years Eve. We still look the same though. Seriously... You guys look young. But not as young as Macross Fanboy.
  3. Sounds like you got us all stumped.
  4. Overall would you say it's better than RLII, even with the bugs and stuff?
  5. Are the wingmen actually useful this time? In RLII they did nothing, except kill maybe one or Tie fighters.
  6. I still find it amazing how much they had to change his designs for the animation, but I guess they did the same for all the Final Fantasy games as well.
  7. Ever played Games Workshop's Judge Dredd, Graham? I know you were a 2000AD fan. I have a copy, but never played it, worth the money for all the old strips though. Not to dog ont he original poster, but most of what I've heard about D20 is that it doesn't handle big robots or starships very well at all. Despite this companies like GoH and DP9 release sourcebooks, but I think thats mostly because of the larger market share. A large amount of role-players out there don't realize there's stuff other than D&D. I dabbled with Macross designs in DP9's Silhouette system, but as this point I think if I was gonan do it I'd do it using Lightning Strike. Allows for a larger overall battle and I'm not one for overly detailed rules. Christ, I barely role dice at all when I'm GM'ing... <_<
  8. AreaSeven... Your knowledge of porn stars astounds me.
  9. Not to mention the fact that the UN Spacy bigwigs are still on Earth, right? They're probably trying to look out for their own hides.
  10. Hey guys, we really shouldn't hijack this thread into an Invid vs. UN Spacy thread, maybe someone shoudl start a new one? Haven't seen any fanboy debates like that since the days of alt.fan.robotech. I'm definately curious about this new series, although I have the nagging suspicion that I should just go re-read my old Invid War comics instead... and they'll probably be made redundant and contrdictory after this series anyways.
  11. Call me crazy but I'd like to see a live action version of a Shirow piece, maybe Appleseed? Only problem is that in reality it'd end up looking cheesy as hell without a decent budget, so I hope $150mil would be enough. Otherwise I agree with Exo's suggestion of a Gunsmith Cats manga. Director would be important, most people would suggest John Woo but he's proven that he's incompetant. Although Hard Boiled (look it up, his best film ever) was decent. My gut says Guy Ritchie would make an interesting movie, and the street-style of Gunsmith Cats kinda fits with his past (pre-Madonna) works. Otherwise I'd say John Frankenheimer, although he's no longer with us.
  12. Yup, correct on the CZ75. Seems like she'd be too small too comfortably fire a DE. Next question is your's DA.
  13. Nope, incorrect.
  14. Her band, The Replicants, were named after the robots in Blade Runner. Sort of a double reference, since one of the replicants was also named "Priss." Yeah, BGC was filled with Blade Runner references. Hell... Mason/Largo's origin is almost directly taken from Blade Runner. But I digress. Okay, here's my question: In the Gunsmith Cats anime (and manga), what was Rally Vincent's favorite handgun?
  15. NCSx.com just got their shipment of Macross games, well, half of it. Apparently they got shafted and won't received the second half of the shipment until early next week. For those curious, the picture they posted of the back clearly shows that it's a 1-player game.
  16. Her band, The Replicants, were named after the robots in Blade Runner.
  17. I'd definately like to see it, but be sure to post it in the Other Anime & Sci Fi section, as Exo said.
  18. And if it was an original, she gutted the interior for a ton of computer equipment and electronics. I wouldn't put it past her to own an original, seeing as how she was paying for a secret war against the world's largest corporation.
  19. Nice costume. I have a picture of you sitting on the ground in that damn warehouse they made us wait in for two friggin hours just to see the masquerade telecast.
  20. Don't turn this into another "ugly cosplay" thread, thats a guaranteed way to get it locked.
  21. IT was locked, even though a few mods and an admin posted on it... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...f=26&t=87&st=25 make sure you change the scope of your dates to "any dates" to be able to search properly.... Wasn't there a much bigger one on the old forums?
  22. What's viverator mean? In Japanese, the letters v and b are pretty much the same.
  23. I'll guess D simply because of the Tomino connection.
  24. Anyone have a link to that interview?
