I hated the first one, finally saw Reloaded this weekend and liked it more than the first. Although the over-hyped Neo vs. Smith fight scene was cap, way too much CG. Car chase sequence was cool though. Not sure if I'm gonna see it or not, don't have a strong opinion either way.

Tenneth Jung and Dennis Young are both very similar in Japanese, with only two letters difference. Same name, just different translationm although it seems like one of them translated a few characters wrong.

Totally agree with you Phyrox, the whole basic idea seems really dumb. There's more plausible and easier ways to come up with an AVP situation. Oh well, might have some nice eye candy.

Sorry if this is a newb-esque question, but in GiTS, what exactly is someone's "ghost?" I remember it mentioned extensively in the manga and movie, but don't remember ever reading exactly what it was. Can someone fill me in?

What scale was it? 1/10th? I remember seeing a really large R/C WRX when I was in Japan a few years ago, I decided to go for the 1/10th Calsonic Skyline thought instead. Damn that was a bitch bringing back. <_<

Seems like a lot of gusy have problems with these figures, but hey... not many of us grew up with dolls. When I first got my Hikaru 1/6th years ago, I was totally stumped on how it was supposed to work. Luckily it was delivered when my then girlfriend was over, and she knew exactly what to do.

I had a Chinese friend who used to go up to people with Chinese characters on their shirts/hats/etc and ask them what it meant, and then tell them what they thought it meant.. it didn't actually mean.

There was also a newer Gall Force series released sometime around 1996 called "Gall Force: The Revolution" I have no idea about the content, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't be released here. Looks to be the Gall Force equivalent of "Dirty Pair Flash." If that makes any sense...

I think the arms look a little out of place, not quite as nice as they looked on the original SDF-1 design. But the rest is really impressive, very very cool. Reminds me a little bit of the old Academy Robotech "CLONE" comics, featured a similar looking variation of the SDF-1.

First comes the original three OVAs (Eternal Story, Destruction and Stardust War, in that order) and then the Earth Force chapters take place afterwards. Way afterwards. It'll make sense after you see the original three OVAs. Personally I liked the original three, never seen much of the Earth chapters. You have to be able to appreciate late 80's OVAs, since they reek of that era. Check them out, just understand when they were made and they should be enjoyable. Oh yeah, I believe Rhea Gall Force is the Earth Force chapters. Gall Force OVA 1: Eternal Story " 2: Destruction " 3: Stardust War

Anyone know of any good Masamune Shirow websites? The Masamune Shirow Hyperpage and Puto's Masamune Shirow site are both good sites but haven't been updated in 2-3 years, so they're not very up to date.

Best way to deal with a troll is to ignore them. Don't take the guy seriously, he's just trying to piss us off. Montarvillois (made extra sure to spell that right) thats a cool idea, and perhaps while not very accurate certainly looks better than the anemic hands it comes with regularly.
