Haven't done too much updating lately, but i just put up a new page about the PC-Engine game 'Eternal Love Song' with some screenshots. Check it out, heres the link.

My friend bought it for me for Christmas because it looked cool. We watched it and at the end were kinda like "what the hell?" Pretty animation, no substance.
-
Well, if I remember correctly, Anime On DVD also liked Blood: The Last Vampire... Ever since that I haven't given their reviews too much weight.

Cool collection displays like that always make me want to go out and spend way too much money on toys. Very nice collection.

Is the S2000 in Initial D? I didn't think it was every featured in the manga, but then again the game has cars that weren't in the manga at all.
-
Er... who was GC hating? None of the Gundam games are very good mecha sims I think, although Federation vs. Zeon is a fun arcade game with mecha, that you'd probably enjoy.

That looks really awesome, can't wait to see other customs from you. And if any other toy customizer's need space, PM me... totally free and we don't have nearly enough toy customizers on the Macross Fan Creations site...

The prices for Japanese PS2s just dropped, and by summer I should be able to find AEUG vs Titans used, so with no shipping costs it should be a good deal. I feel the only PS2 games I want are in Japanese anyways... so I might as well save myself the hastle of swap discs. Besides, I have enough friends with American PS2s that I can borrow if I really need to play something. I read the "tactical" aspects of the game involved ordering around teammates, so I think it's gonna be like 0079 Gaiden in that respect. As for mods there's a swap disc called the Freeloader, about $20 at NCSx.

I already have my arcade stick ready for it... Just need to buy the PS2, which I probably will do this summer in Japan. The only Gundam games I've really enjoyed are Federation vs. Zion (dreamcast) and Giren's Greed (psone). I have others, but none are that great. I personally can't wait to actually play somebody in AEUG vs. Titans, the lack of two player in the DC version really sucked. I'll definately consider picking up this Gamecube game though, especially if it's gonna get released here. The english would definately help with whatever "tactical" elements they're putting in.

Gamecube probably has a higher chance of getting a port of the PS2 Macross game, since it's more popular in Japan than the XBox, and Nintendo now owns a piece (albeit very small piece) of Bandai.
-
Not to get off topic, but there's a lot of messed up continuity in the UC Gundam stuff, Keith. Stardust Memory being one of the more glaring examples.
-
The good news about this game is that it stands a chance of a US release... Nintendo Power has had it listed for a US release for a while now. Can't get enough of the One Year War. Seriously? Thats great. No PS2 means no english Gundam games for me, and getting one won't help much either since I'm probably just going to get a Japanese ps2.

So... What's december? Valkdude Month? Very cool once again, Mechmaster.

The first pics from Famitsu of the upcoming Gundam game for the Gamecube are out. Check them out here: http://www.geocities.co.jp/AnimeComic-Brus...415/japeg03.htm Looks like the normal Gundam 3D game, but supposedly there's going to be more strategy involved. Personally... I'd rather just have the upcoming AEUG vs. Titans, which I'm buying a PS2 for.

Sailor Moon "Live-Action" Series..
yellowlightman replied to robokochan's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I gotta disagree with you guys, I really don't think one doll is going to turn change him or make him grow questioning his sexuality. As I said before he's still really young, it's probably just a fad. And if it's not a fad, then he's probably just curious about girls, in a 4-year old way not a "unsure of his own sexuality" sort of way. OR maybe he's just being different, as a Macross fan in the Land of the Gundam, I think you'd be able to understand that Rob. One doll isn't going to change him, don't worry about it too much. -

Yeah, I would say give in... maybe buy one doll. He's probably going to forget about the whole show in 6 months anyways, with kids it's always something new and exciting. -
Tim Eldred. He also worked on Heavy Gear: The Animated Series Yup yup, question's your's AreaSeven.

What tipped Neo off was when Agent Smith "Everything with a beginning must end." or whatever that lousy tagline was, that the Oracle told him earlier. I just got back from seeing the movie... Not horrible, but that final battle was a huge disapointment. Crappy choreography cannot be remedied with tons of CG.

Okay... It's late and I've been up for almost 36 hours. Here's the best I can come up with: Whats the name of the American fan who wrote the Votoms Viewer's Guide? Bonus Points: Name one of the recent TV programs he worked on recently.

Alien Vs. Predator Teaser Trailer

You know, I kind of feel sorry for the Egyptians. Their ancestors go through all the trouble to build these great monuments and hardly anyone gives them credit for it. It says something that so many people refuse to believe these maazing monuments (not just from Egypt, places like Easter Island, South American pyramids, etc) could have been build by peopel hundreds if not thousands of years ago. Gotta give human ingenuity some credit. -
The early seasons of Star Trek: TNG had *tons* of anime references. I found a site with info about it... Here: http://www.tcp.com/~doi/alan/webguide/postings/ Scroll down to the guy's Baycon postings (they're archives of a guy's convention reports he posted back on the day to USENET). Basically goes over lots of TNG trivia the producers talked about. The crew on TNg were HUEG Dirty Pair fans.

Ebay has an NTSC region-free version. That auction looks pretty sketchy. I'm pretty doubtful about the 5.1 surround sound. But then again, there aren't many alternatives. -

Those dolls were atrocious. Hideous, disgusting things. I have a Minmei packed away in a box somewhere. Bought it in Florida because I'd never sene one at the time and was amazed at it's utter crapulence. I was like... 14 and my aunt (whom I was visiting) made fun of me for buying a doll.
