Hopefully situations like this will force the Studios to not rely so much on over-hyped movies. Revolutions would have done a lot better business if Reloaded and Revolutions itself were better movies, rather than over-hyped mediocrity riding the coattails of the original.

There was a thread about these a while ago, but it was generally agreed not much was known about them. I think someone mentioned they were going to buy one, but I can't remember. I'd definately like to get my hands on them, but they seem quite rare.

The GBP reminds me of Ace Ventura. Nice detail, but doesn't look like it's worth it to me.

That's certainly a large part of it. According to the article I read on DarkHorizons.com, Warner Bros was less than pleased that Revolutions "only" made $80 million on it's opening weekend. This is down from Reloaded's opening weekend of $120+ million. You gotta know there's something f'ed up with Hollywood when an $80 million opening weekend isn't satisfactory. F'ed up especially when you consider that in reality Reloaded and Revolutions should be treated as the same movie; filmed together with the same budget, you kinda have to look at both of them together.

Actually, the turnaround time for DVDs seems to be getting shorter and shorter all the time. There's already news that we will probably see Matrix: Revolutions on DVD in time for Christmas. No expert, but I think it has to do with the huge opening weekends for most movies and then how they just kinda fade otu after that. With movies like the Matrix sequels, most of the people that want to see it (i.e. fans) go and see it on the first weekend. Theoretically anyways, I haven't been around a newspaper (or interested enough to look up sales figures) to prove it.

Be sure to check into what kind of harddrive you're getting, Panther has a nasty bug with firewire hardrives that have a common kind of Oxford semiconductor that causes them to be completely erased. That said good luck with X, took me a while to get used to it after being a die-hard 9 guy for a few years.

Sometimes I got a better deal since I have yet to read the original books. Granted, the 'purists' criticize me for never having read them, but all the same I think it allowed me to enjoy the movies a lot more. I know if I had read them, I'd probably be too busy finding fault with the movies to really enjoy them. For once it pays to be part of the uneducated masses.

Dangaioh, your stuff is really impressive, especially considering you're working with images you took with a digital camera and not a real scanner. I like the soft-line look, and your coloring looks fine in my book.

Why not bump the cost of each sticker or decal sheet up a couple of bucks? With the amount of orders you get, that would probably help a lot and I don't think anyone would complain about helping you out.

Giren's Greed is awesome, and relatively playable without much Japaese knowledge. There's a few sites online with some good info about it, if you end up deciding to get it.

Yeah, we've been getting a lot of that lately: Blood: The Last Vampire Metropolis (if you're a Tezuka purist) Spriggan Wonderful Days (yeah, I know it's Korean, but the animation is gorgeous) I finally saw Wonderful Days, bad character designs but other than that the design and animation was awesome. And at least it had something of a plot, but they could have done a lot more with it. And with all the characters and backstory, I think it would have worked better as a short TV show.

That mouth makes it look a lot better, makes the face a bit more dyanmic I think. Very cool. Theoretically you could use the same body for other valk girls right? Maybe just change the hair color or something...
