I had forgotten someone did that, I used to hang out (well, lurk) on alt.fan.bgcrisis a while back as well. Methinks you might be getting a few requests for copies of that CD. Parasite Dolls sounds vaquely familiar. I did a google search and found this: http://www.aicanime.com/products/parasitedolls/index.html, looks like it's a pretty new series that just came out last year in Japan. I'm curious as to whether it's actually part of the original series continuity. Between BGC 2040 and the new AD Police series, it seems like IC is pretty happy just churning out series "influenced" by BGC but not directly relating to the original series. As for the DVD remaster, I have the second (pink) boxed set... what's wrong with it? I've had people tell me there were problems with it but I've never encountered them myself. However, I'd be glad to buy a newer boxed set if it meant I didn't have to have a bright pink and silver box sitting on my shelf.

I think someone brought it up before but I for one can't wait. I believe it's the original series from ArtMic. I just got the B-Club Book from rnurmin and it has refueled my interest in seeing it again with the extras. Maybe for extras they went back and animated the last 5 planned episodes? I can always hope.

Looks awesome Mike, only thing i can say is: get a better camera! Your work deserves a better quality picture than that.

I bought the TIAS Macross 7 book a few years ago, and I'm pretty happy with it. Has a ton of line art in it although I don't think it's totally complete. Highlights include Mikimoto color sketches of the characters and color design drafts for the VF-19 and VF-17. How much is this book worth nowadays? I got it back around '98 for $35.

People have said there'll be one, but nothing is definate or confirmed. Problem is neither Shenmue and Shenmue II did very well, and Sega (with Sammy's new leadership) is trying to cut back on games where they don't make money, since that's long been one of Sega's problems (a business lead by artists, not businessmen). I hope there'll be a Shenmue III... but I'm not holding my breath.

Seeing as how most of the bulk of the animation in Japanese animation is being animated in Korea and other south east asian countries, it's kind of irrelevant.

Thats awesome Isamu. I played Metropolis Street Racer a lot (the predecessor to PGR) on the DC and it drove me crazy. The stupid kudos system, the over emphasis on the hand break... just annoyed the crap out of me.

You guys tried Yahoo Japan? Seems liek the most obscure Japanese crap comes up on there. Might be a hassle to find someone to buy them for you, but if you can't find it anywhere else it's probably your best bet.

I went on a HCM binge a few months ago and bought a bunch of Gundam ones off of eBay. Got them and... bleh. Maybe I was expecting too much but they aren't poseable and don't look that great, I guess they're old, but...

Isn't it coming out on Gamecube and PS2 as well? I've been knocking around the idea of getting an X-Box, but spy adventures aren't really my cup of tea.

Yeah, anime just means animation, but in American fandom it's been taken to mean only Japanese animation. I guess 'Japanimation' wasn't cool enough anymore. Same thing with the word otaku. Very different meanings and implications when spoken by an english-speaking fan and a native Japanese.

Is it just me or does that "y" look kind of like the symbol Prince used as his name for a while?
