  1. Looks like some sort of fan-made game. Weird.
  2. Yeah, she was posted earlier but she deserves repeating, I think. Funny how she looks about 100x better than the actual actress from 2Fast 2Furious.
  3. Well, good thing they don't make them anymore. We get Scions instead.
  4. Speed's helmet from this series looks oddly familiar...
  5. Check his first post, said he hasn't gotten around to painting the rubber clothes parts... so they're not on the kit yet.
  6. I thought Ragnarok Online charged per-month now?
  7. Looks like a good design, just doesn't feel very Mospeada/New Generation to me, especially the hover aspect.
  8. Giren's Greed came out before Gundam's US debut, so I'm not how that really applies. That said though, GG has a lot of voice work to translate and dub as well as a lot of general text and information. Not to mention the fact that more hardcore sim games don't do too well anyways...
  9. Vostok, I was talking raw power not handling. Obviously in auto-x a lot more comes into play than just power output. I wasn't saying they were bad cars, just that for their performance and power output their appearence was... overdone.
  10. I know turbo charged they're potent, but stock it's a pretty average motor. That said, from what I've heard turbocharging the KA24 is a more logical choice nowadays given the rising costs of SR20DETs. Did the J and Q models in Japan not come with the SR20DET?
  11. Never said they sucked. But they were definately not "fast," at least not in a straight line. Heavy car + low HP motor = not very fast. Especially since when you have scoops liek that it general implies a turbo, and generall turbo cars are pretty quick. Suffered a similar problem the 240sx's did. Good chassis and suspension, but the stock motor was junk stock. Maybe not junk, but compared to what we could have got... Just disapointing.
  12. The older (GC8?) 2.5's had all sorts of dumb scoops and stuff and all it had was an N/A 2.5 turd motor. It looked good, but performance wise it didn't back up the bad-ass exterior. Since everyone else is posting pictures of their car, here's a few of mine at an SFR auto-x back in February.
  13. Heh, like the 2.5 RS? That was factory rice in all it's non-functional hood scoop glory.
  14. Glad that they're back. I used to be a big fan of their Star Wars game and was bummed when WoTC snatched up the Star Wars license.
  15. I think it has more to do with the fact it's kind of a cross-over audience. A lot of aniem fans play video games, not to mention a lot of video game characters have interesting costumes... so they enjoy cosplaying as them.
  16. Supposedly the Robotech Movie was originally going to take place shortly before the Zentradi arrived for the SDF-1. But due to various reasons (one I think was the possibility of DYRL being released theatrically in the States) the time frame was changed to the Southern Cross-era.
  17. No they exist in real life. It is not a series of any sort. Kinda like how in Cali the CHPs have Camaro SS as highway patrol. Or remember in the 80's when teh Lamborghini was real hot. they made Police cars out of them. I dont know who actually used them. But the Skyline and WRX and other cars have been made into police cars in Japan. In Italy they have a Lambo police car, just got one of the new Murcielago's for high speed pursuits and other important stuff (high speed transportation of body organs, stuff like that).
  18. I have a very bad VHS copy of it I got back in the day, I'd consider copying it for you if it wasn't already nearly unwatchable as-is. I'm pretty sure there's a digital version floating around on the net, someone must have encoded it...
  19. This whole Riddick franchise seemed to jump out of nowhere. He wasn't that important in Pitch Black, was he? I've only seen short snippets of that movie.
  20. I loved FvZ, and played it nonstop for a long time on my DC. So it looks like this will be a sur ebet to pick up as well.
  21. You sure that works? I work at a Toyota dealership, and we get those brochure requests all the time and I'm usually the one that has to send them out ( ) but I haven't seen any GT4 demos, or else I would have already grabbed a stack.
  22. Technically I think the auto WRXs are faster in the quarter mile than the manuals, but I don't remember the exact numbers. That said, anyone using the WRX as a drag car should be kicked in the nuts. Go take that thing out to a rally-cross or club rally.
  23. What's a liter? The best solution to rising gas prices is to buy a car that doesn't use so much damn gas. There are a lot out there, but people don't want to give up their SUVs and yet still complain. Hybrids are the solution! 44 miles a gallon can't be beat! (at least i think thats what they run). the only down side is they are more expensive than reg cars... Hybrids aren't more expensive. The Toyota Prius starts just above $20k. Only problem with hybrids is limited supply... At my dealership where I work we have an 8 month waiting list on the Prius, and with the hybrid Highlander coming along pretty soon that's going to have a huge waiting list as well. Ford also just announced it's new hybrid SUV. I'd make a joke about Ford reliability, but I think Ford just licensed Toyota's technology so maybe it's okay.

  25. Garfield is probably one of the worst comics I can imagine. It manages to be less creative than Family Circus and yet is still ridiculously popular. John Davis re-uses the same dumb jokes every day. Calvin & Hobbes and Garfield shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence.
