The extras are the main reason I'm getting these, and I want to support Mari. The sound effects are killing me on this, I can't stand the GI Joe laser sound coming from the gunpod. What is really odd is it only happens sometimes, and other times they leave the original sound in - weird.

That seems about right. The one near me only orders 2 when it is released, as I looked over the guys shoulder when I was asking him when they would get more in. The biggest problem is that only 2 isn't enough because some other fans gobble them up before I can get there. My Best Buy only has 2 Vol. 1 on the shelves.

Monday night I finally saw one of the Omaha Best Buys as having V2 in stock. Got there yesterday afternoon and there was one copy left. I still don't get why V2 has been more difficult to get and not showing up in stores. 388030[/snapback] I got mine from Best Buy on 3/29, I had to call and have them hold it for me, they only ordered 1. He also said they had 2 coming in for 4/4, a friend of mine went and picked up one that day and it was the only one on the shelf. I think Best Buy has decided that this isn't going to sell well, so they aren't ordering any. Another theory is that the Vol. 1 boxset takes up shelf space and they don't want to order a lot of stock and have a whole section devoted to Macross, that isn't selling.

The Best Buy near me still doesn't have it. I called today and the guy said it was on a truck and being delivered tonight, near closing time and it should be on the shelf tommorow. He did say I should call and they would hold it for me, makes it sound like they are only getting 1.

So can anyone give a review of Vol. 2, as it seems I won't be getting this until the 28th.

"The Island" is a complete ripoff of a movie called "Parts: The Clonus Horror". A low budget movie that has also been seen on MST3K. Most of the ideas came from this movie. Link Link

I've already found a copy at Suncoast, which I believe is a nationwide chain (usually located in shopping malls). I went ahead and took a quick peak of the end of episode 11 to see if Minmay's first musical performance was altered at all (it's not! ). She sure does sound great in 5.1! 380519[/snapback] Called Best Buy, got the same answer: the 28th. The nearest Suncoast to me is 90 miles away, so I'm not making that trip. There is nothing else near me that will carry it. Guess I'll wait or order it online.

It was "The Five Doctors", you're right about the Keeper of Traken episode, I couldn't remember it fully.

Just got back from my local Best Buy, they don't have it either. The guy I talked to says its been pushed back to the 28th. He checked a few sites and they all said 3/14. He told me to call back tomorrow because they will get a shipment in and it might be on it.

The Valeyard (evil Doc) is not really a later regen he is an amalgamation of the Doctor's darker side, between his 12 and final regeneration. Previously in the series the Master forces a 13th regeneration by seizing the body of another, so if the doctor could do this as well, their could probably be many incarnations. It is also eluded to in the 96 movie that it is possible to take other regens from timelords.

The top two pics aren't of the VF-4, they look like the VF-5000B.

There is an indicator shown in Mac zero in the scene after Shin pulls the cobra, when it reaches green he can make the transformation if IIRC. Also Edgar says something to Shin about checking some sort of indicator before going to gerwalk when they are first training in the VF-0D. Shin doesn't and almost crashes the thing, then he gets shot by Roy.

I would really carefully transform this thing, step 2 can be a problem. The little red pegs that hold this thing in each mode can break. I tried transforming mine a few weeks ago, and the thing wouldn't budge, I was putting a good deal of force on the thing, than decided it wasn't worth breaking it, so I left it in soldier mode. The tanks, if I remember correctly, were made in two different places, the Japanese one is easiest to break while the Chinese is a little stronger and was easier to transform.

I haven't played it in a while so I forgot about that length problem. Just saw that "Blues" tag myself when I e-mailed it you. The length isn't really a problem, on my player it just hits 4:28 then just ends, ending time says 5:35 the extra minute never plays. One comment so as not to confuse people, the whole song is there.

The Flashback 2012 version is different from the version in SDF Macross. I have it, but I have knowhere to host it either, its about 4.5 MB.

Picked it up today and watched it with a couple of friends. We all liked it once we got by the few strange pronunciations. The way they pronounce Focker was the most grating for us. The new sounds didn't bother us to much, though I heard a little GI Joe type lasers from the Regults during episode 2. Episode 4 "Lynn Minmay" is where I feel Hikaru's voice actor started to get a feel for the character, or maybe I was getting used to the voice. Over all I would say they did a fine job with the dub. For those who don't own the Animeigo version, pick this one up. By the way it seems to be selling well at the stores where I live, or the stores didn't stock it to well. Best Buy had it, but I bought the second to last copy on the shelf.
