The Galaxy story could be a part of the movie... after all. And while it is true, most dead guys tend to stay dead, Grace is one possible exception. Remember, she revived herself on Frontier. If that chamber wasn't destroyed by Leon, she might be able to make a come back. And to me, it seems that Grace is not that moronic, she might have planned for a contingency even if others didn't. Now, having said that, she might have been careless, after all, the second I became God of Vajra, the little queen would be minus her little head. But that's just me. I would how easy it would be to remanufacture Battle Galaxy if the main Galaxy colony ship survived.

You know, there is probably enough material there for a Sheryl focused OVA.

You can take out Hikaru and Kakizaki, and the last two would still beat up on the Frontier team. Mikhail is not anything like a hand to hand, and let's assume somehow, they're able to get one of the other two, it'd probably be Focker that buys the farm, but that still leaves Max, and Max will probably kill all four of them in no time flat. Alto and Ozma are just not that good. Luca is useless, I doubt his drones are capable of taking Max, and as for Mikhail, once Max realizes there is a sniper on the loose, he isn't going to be taken down any more.

Better question is how exactly did Ranshe get her virus... it's not airborne, it's supposed to be passed through fluid exchange... And what was Aimo again? Some type of mating song? as for Ranka, I'm sure she learned it from someone, or may be it's an inherited trait.

Ah, finally, they brought back the true Ghosts, not the washed up version that Frontier has been using. Although I find it puzzling that Luca is apparently an idiot, not allowing his own Ghosts the same capability when it would've enabled him to do so much more. As for Galaxy... poor Battle Galaxy. What did it ever do to deserve the mugging it got from Monster, Quarter, and then Frontier. Alas, we hardly ever even got to know ye... and the rest of the Galaxy fleet. Hmmm, can't believe Sheryl got slapped... can't the poor girl just be left alone to die in peace? great, now not only has Alto conned Sheryl out of her inheritance (the ear rings), she is also humiliated by Ranka. (although may be not in front of Alto at least). It seems the Nome family is just getting a whole set of bad rap these days.... what else can possibly go wrong for them. I wonder if I'm the only one who felt sorry that poor Grace got whacked... that was also most unfair.

Inconsistent animation is one problem, it went from superb to so-so to superb. There was still a bit too much reuse of footage, but I guess I can understand it. Story was good, but was not paced well, and the ending feel a bit rushed. What the hell? How did we end up with just Battle Galaxy? Where is the rest of the fleet? This could've used may be another 5 to 10 episodes to flush out the whole story. I think it would've been good to have a better understanding of the Vajra, they made it sound like a gigantic overmind, but then it was also a very weak overmind to have been taken so easily. Finally, Alto was still a bit indecisive, but if a movie resolves it, then I'm satisfied. Other than that, I second what Togo said, Sheryl is a great character, more guts, (although we never really saw it spill out) than Guld. Nicely rounded characters overall. When the animation was good however, it was very good. Music was pretty good. Overall, a worthy successor to the genre even if it was not a fully completed storyline.

Apparently, we have to wait for the raw somewhere.... well, that's that.

That would be nice, but may be a tie in from Macross Galaxy, I am a bit disappointed with what they've shown on Galaxy so far, there isn't enough filler for that part of the show. That's something they need. Hell, if they can do 50 episodes of crap like GSD, I hope they can do a second season of Macross

Thought the Russian side of the ledger is now up to at least 3 Su-25, and a single Backfire. I wonder what the losses for the Georgians were. I am actually a little surprised at how effective the Georgian air defenses are, considering that the Russians should know those systems inside out. One other thing that is of interest, I wonder how many attack choppers the Russians deployed, the country seem to be pretty good for that type of operations.

As I watched this episode, I was thinking that there was probably at least one accountant sitting in the bowels of Bandai with this ep on a loop shouting: "YATTA YATTA YATTA" Given how many possible models of Valks in there. That's what I liked about Ledger's Joker, it was a very deep character. I agree that I just hope when the sequel comes up, it is done just as well. This one is the best movie this year.

Just saw the movie.... and had a few thoughts Whoa, this thing was rated PG13? What the hell? I thought the first half an hour of the movie was definitely disturbing. Enough to give kids nightmares or set them on a good path to being psychos. I have no idea what the rest of the Oscar field would look like, but the first half an hour was enough to put Ledger on the nomination list. The acting difference is quite palpable at the beginning of the movie vs. the end. At the end of the movie, I wasn't quite sure whether the Joker had changed persona or that I got so used to him being the way that he is I thought it was starting to become more reasonable what he was doing. Aaron Eckhart I think got overshadowed in this movie. He did just a great job playing Harvey. A bit over the top at times, but very believable. The way they set up his fall, it's pretty tragic. Christine Bale did a pretty good job too, but definitely overshadowed in this movie by the other two guys. A nice combo of toys for people who like the stuff. But the psychology of the movie was really good too. By far the best Batman movie so far. As for a sequel, I don't have any doubts though that with something this big, there will be a sequel, I'm going to guess that this will surpass Spiderman-3 or come within a few million of it on the opening three days. For the lighter moments, I did like the Joker origin in this movie. Thought that was hilarious.

Think I'm starting to understand Alto, Alto is an actor after all, and most actors are well.... you know. So Ozama better watch out, and Bobby might have additional competition. That explains the whole "LET ME JOIN SMS" thing
