    The back of the glass shelf needs the base to hang off of and the sides of the glass shelf just need the posts with the thicker bottom to go above the glass.

    Not sure if they are fiddly on just a few that were sold because none of mine are. The HMR VF-1 is also pretty smooth and easy with its transformation.
