Yeah I think the type of shipping used and proximity to NY’s location are also factors. I always choose the cheapest shipping which usually is one of the slowest methods. In any case I always receive what I order and I don’t mind waiting.

My VE-1’s from NY are finally in the US through registered ferry.

For every figure I own and have opened, I have at least an extra that is MISB/MIB unopened. There was a section of my storage room that was all empty boxes. I decided to throw out a lot of them but I still haven’t gotten to all of them. -

Updates from FEXT HOBBY. Looks like they’re making the extended seat for Battroid mode too. Pretty cool.

It really is. Yeah and at first I thought it was 1/60 scale because the Q-Rau in the background looked like it was in scale. Then I looked at the arm and hips and knew it was a HMR custom. The VF-1J Hikaru’s are one of the best to use for customs. They were great to buy when they were selling for around $60-65 shipped.

Thanks for the info in this thread for letting me know where I can view old comics online. I won’t be going to that site for these Robotech comics but now I can catch up on a lot of superhero comics.

It all depends on what type of VF-1 variant or paint scheme you plan on making. For instance if the Valkyrie’s main body will end up white, then the VF-1J Hikaru would be a better candidate. If you specifically need a VF-1S and want the VF-1S Messer to be mainly white, that will take some work. I hand paint all of my customs and the paint doesn’t end up too thick.

Found a cool Angel Birds on facebook. I still plan on making several of these without the armor. I should probably be working and finishing some more customs in a couple of months. Our baby is turning 1 next month. Time flies.
