YMMV but from the 7 years I’ve shopped at NY I’ve never received anything damaged or have anything shipped in a used or damaged box.

They have a pay later option for most items, you can pay for items ahead of time before they are released, you can combine most preorders, they offer Tamashii web exclusives, and they individually bubble wrap items.
