Good thing I never opened the old VF-1S Roy Strike then. I dug it out of storage yesterday but I'll just keep it sealed and open the new version coming out later.

My VF-1S Hikaru from HLJ and Amiami shipped.

There should be a clicking sound when the backpack is pressed or pulled downwards in Battroid mode and now locked.

The connector piece for the backpack is hinged at both ends. My Armored VF-1J has no problems with the backpack and there shouldn't be any if it's transformed correctly. jenius is right from his earlier review and the gimmick is the same on the HMR line.
