Not sure if they are fiddly on just a few that were sold because none of mine are. The HMR VF-1 is also pretty smooth and easy with its transformation.

The last time I bought from Mykombini were some Regults. Paid on 2/29 and shipped on 3/1. Maybe they don't have the CF in to ship out yet.

Because most of my collecting goes to Macross, I usually buy 1/18 cars at Costco for $13 each. Die cast with opening parts and still get the representation of the car.

I'm thinking the white of the HMR VF-1J Hikaru will be closer to the HM VF-1J Hikaru and less grey compared to the HMR VF-1J with GBP parts.

With a spare VF-1A head and HM VF-1J Max I think I'll make a custom VF-1A Cavaliers.

For a low vis HMR version, check out this guy's project. Once my cannon fodders come in I'm giving him one of the spare VF-1A heads to paint up and use. Pretty cool.
