Speaking of the Marv's parole officer....she was HOT HOT HOT! Just thought I'd share that. Carla Gugino(sp?) was a very welcome sight. I went in looking forward to some Jessica Alba drooling, but she stole the show for me.

Just got back from seeing this movie. I agree that the exchange between Michael Madsen and Willis at the begining was pretty painful. But, taken as a whole, the tone set by the first conversation let you know what you're in for; it's a comic, brought to live action and not every line spoken in a comic can be replicated without sounding just plains stupid in real life. The movie had a lot of style and I'd strongly reccomend it to anyone, not just Frank Miller fans. Now, if Warner's would reconsider Batman:Year One, or The Dark Knight Returns (no, don't even bring up DK2, ever, ever....ahh the pain....)

Just finished watching the season finale and I just wanted to say......holy shizzzle Batman! It's going to be a long 4 months to the July premiere of season 2. Wow. This is the best sci-fi show I've seen in a loooong time.

Dude, it's Friday....relax. Yes, it is just a movie. But, Hayden (that is him in the suit right?) just doesn't seem to wear it quite right. I know it's the same suit with some minor modifications but it just looks... off. Just my opinion, I'm not whining or trying to stir the pot.

I agree, Vader doesn't look too intimidating these days. Not that he's wimpy, but he's short and has those small hands. I guess we're supposed to assume he got bigger hands and longer legs attached between epIII and a New Hope. Maybe towards the end of III he'll say "Great, I'm alive, woah, what's up with these girly hands? Why am I so short?!"

Thank guys. I guess the choice is simple, a valk is just naked without fast packs, so I'm probably just going to get a set of those before the prices get jacked up any further.

Despite all the leaks, I'm still getting really excited about this one. I'm not much for conspiracy theories, but I'm starting to wonder if all these "leaks" aren't just coming for Lucasfilms' pr department.

I'm surprised that in his description that he didn't mention that the store he bought it at disappeared as soon as they left. Don't all shops that sell cursed items or mogwai disappear after you buy something?

I'm pretty sure that would get me jail time and I actually like seeing my wife and son on a daily basis, but thanks for the suggestion.

I would probably buy everything (an I'm still toying with the idea) , but my wife is only mildly amused by my Macross obsession and if I suddenly receive an influx of Mac related items (which she knows aren't cheap), I'll be sleeping on the couch for a few nights.

Okay, I finally managed to find that elusive Max 1A valk. Here's the dilemma I now face: Yes, he needs fast packs and and supplies of those are dwindling and becoming more expensive. But, I'd really like to go ahead and buy the 3 mini-sets of SDF Macross which are no longer in production. Unfortuantely, I can't get both. Any thoughts?

I don't know what it is, but it looks like one of it's weapons is a very menacing shovel.

While all these images may not make into the final, Lucas has already stated that younger kids should probably not be at EpIII and that it would probably get a PG-13 rating. I'm not sure how stringent the ratings are, but I would think you could show dead bodies if there is no gore involved.

Woah, what's going on with valk prices?!? They're all over the place these days, especially the yammies.

Why would Bandai want to buy HG? Seems like a waste of money to me.

I really like the show, but I'm not sure about this whole storyline with the president. It just seems to me that someone would have asked the doctor to check her brain at this point to make sure she hadn't bumped into a bulkhead one too many times.

Having seen that I can see why Obiwan leaves Anakin to die.

As a parent that scene is very sad. I might get a little teary when I see that and I know my wife will probably start bawling.

The winning bidder joined on 3.23 so that's definitely suspect. These were on sale at Walmart for 15 dollars last month. Only an idiot would pay more than that.

Everybody who has contributed to this thread defintiely have some serious talent and have made my monitor quite happy. If we're still taking suggestions/requests, there's some scenes towards the end of DYRL of max, hikki, and kakizaki flying in formation away from the Macross (right before Kakizaki gets it). Any chance someone could work one up with their valks and the Macross in the background? Thanks
