  1. hmmm... Top 3 would have to be.. 1. Yamato v2 VF-1. Generally speaking but it would have to be the "J" variant in particular. The VF-1D and TV VF-1A brownies are other favs of the v2 VF-1 line. 2. Yamato VF-19. I pretty much love them all (even the Kai) but if there was one which stood out above the others its the VF-19P. It has one of the best head sculpts of any Valkyrie, it looks bad ass in battroid and as with the other VF-19 has some of that special anime chunkiness! 3. As with Graham, I'm gonna have to include one of the relative newcomers to the game and put the VF-31 in 3rd place! For the moment the 31J is the pick but until (or if) we get the 31A which at this stage im sure will take over as my primary fav of the 31 family. Bottom 3..? This is a tough one.. I do love them all but if I had to place 3 at the bottom of my list it would have to be... 3. Yamato SV-51.. I do really like this bird but its one of those that I only really like in fighter mode. A similar feeling I have with the VF-4 but its fighter mode is so good that is way above many others even though I only really like it in fighter mode. So it doesn't make the bottom 3.. 2. Yamato VF-17F.. I do much prefer the head sculpt of the 17S but generally speaking the 17 is has always looked much more underdone and toy like compared to most of the other Valkyrie's. Battroid is definitely its stronger mode in my opinion but there is still that awkwardness to it that I don't like.. Still glad to have both variants in my collection nevertheless. I am surprised how much more I prefer the VF-171 over the VF-17 also. I'd happily have a dozen of those in my collection! 1. so the bottom of the list has to go to Yamato's YF-19.. Aside their odd proportions, to me it's never been much of a good thing and all the ones I have and had owned were all loose and floppy, don't lock up properly have parts (legs) fall off.. The Arcadia YF-19 renewal is a bad ass bit of kit but Yamato dropped the ball on it in a similar fashion to their original VF-0 line but I've only have very limited experience with them so they don't make the list..
  2. I can agree with what KB said. I love the toys and I love the series. Even as wishy washy as Delta was, its still Macross and I still love it! I can't think of any toys that I have ever bought over the course of my life including model cars, figures, rc cars, planes, boats, bike, tanks bla bla bla that has not had breakages and as much as some Valkyrie's been known to have that problem and being quite expensive its a thing and a risk I accept. Nothing is ever been nor will ever be perfect anyways. I am far more worried about buying a brand new car and having a $50-100K lemon than a $250 toy with something fall off or a detail not correct to the anime.. Macross is something I have dearly loved since day 1 and im not going to stop collecting the toys because one of two have a leg or something that falls off. Yeah they are expensive but that adds to the charm and besides its only money and more will always come around.
  3. thanks for the update Jason!
  4. just the one seeing I already have the original Yamato's. I was considering getting two more of each so I could have one in each mode but its probably unnecessary. maybe if they do release the premium version I'll get one also.. Maybe.
  5. now that's an M&M shrine!
  6. maybe its just the lighting in the photos playing tricks..?
  7. something isn't quite right about her head.. her eyes look like they are being pulled further away from each other by the intense gravitational fields between a pair of companion stars!
  8. yes to a degree they do! And it'll be even more so when the next model goes to the mid engine layout.. hehe! yeah those exhaust tips look pretty silly eh! makes me wonder how loud this thing actually was for them to have to do that to it!

    Bandai DX VF-31

well that sure is kinda sh!t isn't it.. just another reason for the 31F to remain my least favorable.. ffs Bandai why you do this!?!?
  11. Yes you can chose to pay in a different currency.. I have also noticed this.. it gives me the option to choose Australian currency but its always cheaper for me to select the Japanese currency. Worked out to be about $20 to $30 cheaper for me.
  12. end of December for Max eh, that's ok I guess..
