Could you possibly speak to an insurance broker to find out the best possible solution? Not sure how insurance works in the states which I assume is where you live but down here in Australia I was able to get specific contents insurance for all my stuff to an agreed value.

though on its way, mine still hasn't left Japan as yet so I guess it won't be arriving before the weekend.. NY's slack dispatch regime is quite irritating.

but the reality is that this is nothing new.. I have experienced this with them for as long as I can remember. The only thing though is it has gotten a bit worse in recent times.. Hopefully it will be shipped out today so I can have it by the weekend. Fingers crossed.

Hehe! Some are good some aren't.. sadly I think the manufacturers don't put into consideration people wanting to fit scale figures inside these cars.. -

I rather like the slight color difference even if it was unintentional. Makes the Kai more unique than a simple touch up modification. But does anyone actually know if it is meant to be a different shade of blue to the original?
