All three are out of their boxes, have been inspected and put on display for now. As far as I can tell they are all perfect with no visible or obvious defects. Thoroughly impressed with them! Loving the clear canopy! Would love to switch their modes for display but it's getting late and I need sleep. Here's a photo to enjoy!

If I was ever in that position that I had to let go of the majority of my collection, the few remaining would definitely be the cannon fodder variants. And Hikaru's VF-1J.. Thanks David! WOW! £186! that's quite a significant amount! So do you get charged ransom for all inbound purchases or when the value good over a certain amount? So sorry to hear about that. I was going to say wait for them to pop up on Mandarake but it would seem that's already happened and they are commanding a high price! I do hope you will eventually able to find one.. Yeah it's definitely a stab in the guts kinda feeling when they greedily hike up the price like that knowing that desperate buyers will pay.. I paid way too much for my 31J Kai but I had no other option in order to get one considering I don't live in Japan. 35k straight off the bat! I'm sure others will only be higher too! I knew this Valkyrie was going to be a must have the moment I laid eyes on it! It's more conventional design and non crayon color scheme give it that closer to reality feel about it! Yes I do love the hero versions and I'm glad I have them but the 31a is definitely the holy grail Delta Valkyrie!

Thanks Noel, well I certainly hope you get some good news soon regarding your Kairos! What kind of percentage do they charge for ransom.. errr I mean import duties? I've been stung up to $250 in Australia. And a work colleague told me that Australia is planning on taxing everything that is purchased online from overseas. Not something I wanted to hear as that is the majority of my purchases. ffs

got an email from CDJ thanking me for approving the shipping charge adjustment and that my order is in the final stages of preparation and will ship out tomorrow being today now.. fingers crossed they stick to their word and it does indeed go out. Though I won't see it til the end of next week at the earliest due to the Easter holiday postal network shutdown. oh well..

LOL! government ransom money! that's brilliant! and spot on! I've had a few items held for ransom in the past! the b@st@rds! And you live on the Isle of Man! that's madness! I visited there for the first time back in 2016 and loved it! Missed the bike racing though.. would love to go back!

Still no shipping notice but I did see that the order status changed to "in shipping process" rather quickly after I sent them the shipping charge adjustment approval.. so I'm pleased the ball has actually started to roll with my order! Thanks KB, glad to see movement for this item for those who purchased from CDJ. But I still can't help but feel they were holding back on the stock for a sometime before shipping them out for what ever reason.. Perhaps knowing that Bandai dropped production quantities they wanted to sit back and see how things went first. I'm also wondering if their shipping charge adjustments are means of generating a little extra profit on them knowing of the short supply? Just a theory.. I could be completely wrong. To be honest I'm quite surprised how uneasy I got with the delay in processing my order with CDJ.. I can really only speak for myself but for me personally this Valkyrie feels like "the one to have" or the one every body actually wants compared to the other variants. Even when I initially purchased three of the VF-31J I wasn't this excited for it. Yes, Whether they arrived in our lives today or next year isn't such a huge deal but the reality is I might not wake up the next morning or be hit by a bus (hmmm I work for a bus company..) and I'd hate to miss out on this particular Valkyrie! Probably a silly way to look at it and I know that material possessions aren't everything in life but..... sometimes they just are!

Also just got notification of shipping charge adjustment which requires my approval. Which of course I did approve! Hopefully they just send my friggin order now. FYI, probably won't use CDJ again after this.. but I said that about NY and yet I have still used them again. FFS my life.

Because every vendor feels the need to charge bullshit money to send anything to Australia.. you know because it's further than any other country than anywhere else in the world..

what makes it worse is that I paid $1100 up front for the three I ordered which is by no means small change.. if I was waiting for a single one then it wouldn't sting so hard. I'm just waiting for an order cancellation notice knowing my luck..
