  1. that sure looks pretty sketchy at best to me.. hope you didn't pay much money for it! I have no doubt there are copies out there but even this thing looks very poor fit and finish.. even for a 1/55!
  2. absolutely I won't be pushing him about it.. hopefully he will change his mind about it in a few years or so but im not going to pressure him. my son will be 14 in about two weeks! growing up so fast its crazy! Airsoft as a 2nd job sounds interesting!

  11. Holy crap what a score!!! Especially the J-GBP set! Did you let your Robocop figure go!? Was that the one you posted pics up of?
  12. I have given him plenty of encouragement but he just shrugs it off. He's drawn some really amazing things in the past so its a little frustrating that he has that attitude about it.. not sure what else I can do in an effort to pushing him along.
  13. @anime52k8.. This is fantastic! I know you posted this quite a while ago but thanks for doing so regardless! I am going to attempt repairing the Alto 171 that I gave to my son and this should help wonders! Im also going to order the replacement shoulder parts from Shapeways.. hope this goes well!
  14. @Nightingale.. very nice photos! Looks great with those missiles too!
  15. Impressive spending spree! Nice work!
  16. thanks guys! yeah he does have a knack for drawing but I don't think he's very interested in doing anything with it..
  17. haha! hey thanks mate!
  18. did a little display shuffling and popped my beautiful Nora SV-51 up on a stand! ain't she just gorgeous! @Scream Man.. you see im giving her plenty of love!
  19. the missiles were the problem.. I just widened the very top of the round cap bit only slightly and it now sits flush.
  20. haha! yep! after seeing your shots I thought I'd do the same! I think they really suit the Zero as they are very similar to the missiles it comes with. They do fit ok but I had to slightly modify two of the as they were too loose and a slight bump they would fall out. But they sit in nice and secure now!
  21. hehe! silly me.. I did actually read what you got in an earlier post! hope you get your stuff soon!
  22. found some time to have a good mess about with the Zero's. gee they can be quite fiddly to pose and handle.. some of the joints are very stiff! The Zero I have in battroid has super tight upper leg (gerwalk) joints and its a good two hand effort to get em to budge! At times I thought I was starting to apply too much force! But they are an absolute gem once you start to get use to them! But I haven't been very adventurous with their poses so far and I think I'd rather find a few good positions to set them in and just leave them be in the cabinet. Gerwalk definitely is the gun mode for this bird! She has so much presence even just sitting there in a somewhat relaxed pose! still cant get over how big they are! even with my Cav in Supers looking all fluffed up, she still is no match to the sheer size of the Zero! In battroid and the Zero simply towers over old mate! hey brownie get a load of this things gun pod! hehe! not looking so sure as what to do with it! trying it on for size! looks more like a bazooka than a gun pod! and she has muscles too! makes easy work of a VF-1! poor brownie looking a little embarrassed by it all! seeing room is limited having all three Zero's on one shelf, I kept the battroid pose toned down.. I know I've posted a similar shot before but here they all are looking absolutely amazing together!
