Got order prep notice from NY.. CDJ and HLJ well on their way now.

I rather like the curved spine but it more resembles the curved engine covers of late 80's F1 cars just like this Lotus 99t.. Loved the airbox-less design of the turbo era!

its funny how Yamato ever thought that the long legs of its original version were ever even close to correct!? they just look lanky and horrible.. And each of the three shown in those pics show how the engine intakes design vary quite considerably. To me the Arcadia's overall shape is still more on the money than the others but Bandai's version easily eclipses it for surface details especially the tampo. I also think the Arcadia has a better side on profile and Bandai's looks like it is drooping down along its spine a little.. Landing gear details still go to the Arcadia in my opinion too as I much prefer the white look which is more like how most jet fighters are with the exception of a few.. It would also seem that Bandai's bendy gun design idea still doesn't help it sit any better than it does on the Arcadia.. And I noticed that the Bandai's under wing hard points sit much closer together than the Arcadia's.. This might limit load out options due to the less space available.. Not that anyone will want to load them up with big bulky items but its still a point of concern no less.. Still looking forward to receiving it though!

hehe! yep will do! but I think my Yamato VF-19S beat Bandai's 19 to it!

Considering that the Arcadia YF-19 is a little more buff when in battroid mode I think I will keep the Bandai in fighter mode.. most likely with supers fitted. The Bandai display stand and pin point barrier punch gimmick thing will also be staying in the box! High speed mode never to be used.. icky.. I must say the Bandai 19 does pull off gerwalk better than the Arcadia does! I think the boob cannons work a lot better on the 19 Advance than they do with the 171.. still kinda weird and little bit of an after thought but they work. I guess Isamu has been busy modding the crap outta this bird more to his liking! Still no postage tracking updates as yet.. :/ hoping its well on its way and that its just the scanning data that hasn't gone through as yet.. Might hold off buying another till this one arrives so I can make a better informed decision about it..

Just got HLJ payment notification! Now just waiting on NY for a shipping notice and thats all 3 done! Hmmm so am i ordering a 4th.. decisions decisions..

I don't think there are many places that have them still available this close to release but im sure they will pop up again as people cancel their orders or more stock arrives..

I just hope NY doesn't mess about with their shipping process.. I don't want to wait for another whole week before they get their act together and ship it out. And I am expecting to receive payment request from HLJ anytime now! Still not sure if I will be ordering a 4th yet..? Seeing that only one of the three I have ordered is mine, I wouldn't mind a 2nd.

those are some great comparison photos! The Arcadia version is definitely more anime chunky! The Bandai looks a lot more svelte with loads of surface detail! And the amount of tampo printing on the Bandai simply kills the Arcadia version! The Bandai in Battroid also has more of the Frontier crotch forward position and the mono boob (nose section) sits much higher up compared to the Arcadia valk.. And the Bandai has quite a much slimmer lower leg design too. Overall I do really like it! Its good that both brands are very different! Can't wait to get a hands on!

Put simply I cannot compete with Saburo when it comes to photo quality but here is my Skull squadron shot! Well I guess there is one thing I have over Sab.. Gun straps! hehe!
