yes! if Bandai on the other hand decides to have a go at a VF-1 then depending on the end result I would start a new collection! It would have to be miles better than their 1/100 scale efforts that's for sure.. They just couldn't base a 1/60 toy design on that and get away with it. It would have to use tech from the latest DX range at the very least. There are some minor things Arcadia could improve on the v2 VF-1 but personally I don't think it could justify another v2.? release and they would be wasting their time and money doing so. I doubt people would be rushing out to buy them just for minor tweaks. If they ever do a complete redesign and make the VF-1 even more friggin awesome than it is now then by all means go for it and I will buy them but for now I just don't think its necessary.

its cold.. seen a few zero (Celsius) or about's mornings recently. Had a good amount of rain lately too! Some patches of the garden are still waterlogged.. But generally speaking its never that bad here in the Sydney region.. Get much colder towards mountains and snows even an hour further south! Summer is a pain though.. I live further out the north west and we get mid 40's © so having A/C is a must!

hehe! ok will do mate! I just hope that the foreseeable future is fairly distantly away from now!

I think so.. you know I don't actually know!? might have to check the box when I get home! But now in general I do have a quick scan of the manual when ever something new comes along. And yes thank god for Jenius reviews and transformation guides! A true life saver! P.S. nice sig mate! -
they do indeed! there is a nice contrast between them! I miss not having my 19P in fighter mode.. but its nicer in Battroid than the 19Kai!

Agreed. Im just not liking the bendy function as an attempt to correct its stow posture. They could have come up with something else there such as an extendable angle adjustable stock or molded the stow slots on the arms on a different angle.. Bandai fail moment right there. The Bandai does sit quite tall in this shot! I'd probably be retracting the feet in a little to match the Arcadia at least. And im preferring the knee swivel point on the Arcadia better than the Bandai's swivel joint above the knee.. but that's not a deal breaker! Awesome photo by the way! Love the back ground! yes they are and yes done that.. still no joy with my one.. David, did you not secure any at all? and what's wrong with veggies!?

hehe! yeah i only discovered that the arms extend by accident and had been displaying them un-extended for a little while. Although some are quite tight to pull out.. I never bothered to read the manuals much.. that has since changed! -

hehe! yeah just a little.. got car rego and insurance to knock over and I kinda ate into that buying the extra 19.. no biggie its only money and more will come around I guess.. and besides driving a registered vehicle is overrated anyways! only joking @authorities.. good thing I have the GSXR as a back up vehicle! Yeah my son's 19 arrived yesterday but I didn't get a chance to check it out. Went out with the misses for dinner and to watch the Jurassic World movie (again.. took my son last week..) and got back too late for start messing about with it.. was more interested messing about with something else! -
Very nice.. thanks.. hehe! Im gonna start a petition! Say No to a v3 VF-1! Jk'ing! Im not saying that it's a bad idea of course not, maybe even a v2.5!? I think its frightening an idea having to replace ALL my current v2+ Valks if they do chose to renew the VF-1.. Then maybe we could see something more special like a different scale again! such as a 1:32 or larger perhaps? Something with interchangeable parts to allow you to switch variants and or color panels? But if they do come out with a v3 then I'll most likely be posting up all my v2's for sale so look out for some bargain Valks! hehe!

hehe! yeah that's not such a big deal down here in Aus..

Great photo Yeti! but I can't say im liking that you need those stalk bits to support the wings in Battroid when the boosters are fitted..
-
hehe! you see there's no limit to what a v2 1/60 VF-1 can do! even break dance!
-
its a better price than NY but I have given up buying anything from AmiAmi.. they have the personality of an automated telephone system menu and their customer service is a useful as a flyscreen on a submarine..
-
personally I think the v2 1/60 VF-1D canopy looks fine.. I think they could put their resources to better use re-developing something else that actually needs re-developing. Such as the SV-51, YF-21 & VF-22 to name a few.. or introduce some missing models such as the VF-3000/5000, VF-9, VF-14 etc.. or! simply do some more re-paints!

well... it was all kinda accidental actually! As much as I do really like the color scheme I probably wouldn't have bought three of them but originally I intended to buy different variants from an ebay store but they sent me the wrong ones. I already had a Kakizaki at the time but instead of returning them I chose to keep them and display them each in a different mode! And I got a refund for the price difference as these were cheaper. I regret not buying another one or two Angel birds and im still considering picking up another VF-1A Brownie either TV or DYRL.. I know where there is one going for a good price but a bit hesitant now as I bought a 4th VF-19 Advance and im a little drained for funds at the moment.. -

I myself prefer the shoulder plate sections to be either more flat or even slightly forward facing as pictured above in Saburo's photo.. but hey to each their own.. like this! -

I have always loved the brownies from the very first time I saw Macross! I don't think it would matter which camera he took the photos with! they would always look amazing! Even with an old VGA phone camera from the early 2000's! hehe! -
v3!?!? ohhh hahahahaha! yeah right! that sure as hell ain't gonna happen! LOL! at least I hope not..

lovely photos Saburo! The Kakizaki colors are one of my favorites! -
That look great Sixtybucks! The colors work so well with the VF-1S!

Even though i spent a stupid fortune buying the M&M pair i wouldn't mind getting a re-issue set for keeps. but im more than certain that they will be the most expensive Arcadia release to date.. north of 40k yen i reckon!
-
What's "Robotech"? Im not familiar with that one?

@Gwynne it looks pretty good from the photo.. they are a little fiddly to transform and they dont really lock into place. But it looks like you got it pretty much right! You can pull out the fore arms a click or so and those folding thigh cover panels on the upper leg are meant to sit out than be folded rearward.. i think.. i guess its up to how you prefer it. Congrats on getting your first DX valk! Im sure there will be many more to come!
