yeah the ankles on mine are pretty loose.. as was the right upper arm joints which I did manage to tighten up slightly to better support the weight of the gun pod.

in a way im tempted as I have nearly 9k yen in CDJ rewards points which I need to burn before the eventually expire but not so sure I want another.. unless I sold it on for a profit but I really don't like doing that as re-selling something from Australia any profits usually get absorbed by shipping costs back to overseas.. fail. If only CDJ had something else interesting for sale I could buy instead..

hehe! and I have an annoying (to some) tendency to keep throwing stuff out! In this case it didn't pay off.. I totally forgot I had that game and then thought I'd never have any further use for the console and cashed it in at one of those pawn shops..

im going to see this tonight with my son so here's hoping it makes good watching! Been reading a few mixed reviews about it but then again which movie doesn't get mixed reviews.. you can't please everyone I guess! I thought Kingsmen was only fairly average to be honest.. Still want to see Mission Impossible and yeah I have no plans to see Spy anytime soon either.. a friend of mine saw it and she liked it. Although she has odd tastes when it comes to movies so im not taking her word for it.

I never transformed my Arcadia YF-19 so I can't comment of that side of the toy but as Jenius mentioned the missiles issues was a bit of a let down. Was the reason why I eventually removed them as they kept working loose from the holders and falling off. I don't mind that the Arcadia is a little sparse in the tampo department as its just their (and Yamato's) style and the overall shape of the toy is just gorgeous! The Bandai not coming with any missiles at all seeing that it has the hard points was disappointing yes. The troublesome super parts fitment also was a bit frustrating along with the misleading box art and fast packs fiasco. I leave those parts off anyways. And the gun pod which is just too much of a gimmick. Athough Arcadia screwed up the gun pod stow point on their Zero-D so both companies are even there. Its hard to chose one or the other and last night I swooshed my Arcadia around and will say I just love the feel and sculpt of it! The Bandai whilst not feeling quite as solid (in fighter mode anyways) makes up so much ground on the Arcadia with the surface details which are superb! Better than any DX before it! One thing I do keep in the back of my mind is that I have transformed the Bandai to battroid and back to fighter where I haven't done so with the Arcadia, so its one critical point I cannot make a final judgement on. Although I have transformed all the other Yamato VF-19's through all modes and having also previously owned a Double Nuts which was a floppy mess which I know doesn't compare to the Arcadia. But still Im gonna call it even between them.

The parts in the photo look really good! Im busting to get my hands on this thing! Thanks for the update Xigfrid!

What makes the Macross toy line hold their value so well?
spanner replied to Shermantank's topic in Toys
yeah I much preferred the Frontier series over the movies! SDFM and DYRL are kinda the same but different and I liked them equally. Loved Plus! and MD7 was better than M7 for sure! M7 was a total brain drain to watch.. and Zero was cool. -
I will try the purple yam ice cream some time soon for sure but today I was kinda desperate when I got home for anything ice cream after all this talk so after I left work I bought a Macca's apple pie through the drive thru (whilst on my bike which I haven't done in a long time!) and had that with a few scoops of vanilla hokey pokey and a drizzle of pure maple syrup! It was divine!

yeah that probably makes sense.. I thought it was more than likely a browser issue. Didn't do it on the work pc's and ever since I upgraded to win10 at home it hasn't done it again. It was just an annoyance having to log back in after a few page flicks or I'd had just finished writing a comment and it would say I don't have permission to do that until I either register or log in.. seems to be fixed now!
